Luke Steele Flies Solo

After nine years as the quasi-dictatorial leader of Perth’s Sleepy Jackson, Luke Steele will hit the tarmac for his “first ever national solo tour”. That’s right, the man responsible for more band sackings than Anton Newcombe, will realise an apparent dream when he heads out on the road for a series of cross-country dates alone.
Steele will be performing in intimate acoustic guitar mode throughout the tour, playing songs from both Sleepy Jackson albums - Lovers and Personality: One Was a Spider, One Was a Bird - as well as a selection of new material. The news is sure to excite fans who weren’t super keen on Personality’s ridiculously elaborate arrangements.
