WOW Signs To Levity

Strobe lights. Dancing on the bar. Pelvic thrusts. Getting booted off stage at Sydney’s Hollywood Hotel by an octogenarian publican named Doris. It’s just another day at the office for Sydney electro-pop duo WOW.
The band recently inked a deal with Levity, an offshoot of Levi’s jeans, making them the label’s third signing behind Cut Off Your Hands and Mercy Arms.
Forming in late 2007, WOW recently performed at Field Day, a festival headline spot in Vietnam, supported Crystal Castles on their Australian tour and released a 7" through Hong Kong-based label Metal Postcard. They describe their sound as “the musical equivalent of a hotted-up Commodore 64”. Whatever that means.
