Former Mess+Noise cover boys Ohana will team up with Brisbane “indie-jazz noodlers” To The North for a tour and accompanying split 7” in July.
The Wollongong math rockers will roadtest songs from their forthcoming second album on the tour, which will encompass plenty of all-ages shows in “various spaces”.
Ohana’s yet-to-be-released second album -- the follow-up to 2006’s Weak Wrists -- was recorded at Head Gap in Melbourne with Neil Thomason (My Disco, Further, Baseball) during May. The band are planning to release it on their own label, Imperative Residence, in September.
