Little Red Single Launch

Related: Little Red.
Between circumnavigating Australia with Operator Please, The Panics and Spoon and playing stints at the Big Day Out, Meredith and Laneway festivals, Little Red have somehow found the time to put a “cracking new album in the can”.
Perhaps, like Jim’s Mowing, they’re franchised? Either that, or they’re really good at writing on the road.
The retroactive quintet will launch ‘Witchdoctor’, the first single from their short-awaited debut LP at the Corner Hotel on April 24.
Disappointingly, it’s not a cover of Alvin and the Chipmunks’ 1958 hit. But with handclaps and off-kilter harmonies, retro production and silly lyrics about “going down to the middle of the Andes”, it’s still the Little Red you know and love.
Joining them on the bill are Young Lovers and Oh Mercy.
