Mess+Noise is proud to present a tour featuring three of this country's finest songwriters. In conjunction with Spunk records we announce the uniting of Melbourne singer-songwriters Grand Salvo and Machine Translations with Newcastle newcomers Firekites for a run of shows up the east coast. Conveniently all three bands are toting new albums. Synchronicity.

Grand Salvo as we've recently mentioned is already in the throes of new album Death, while Machine Translations, the long-running project for frontman J Walker, are likewise promoting their new record Seven Seven. It turns out that babies of the bunch Firekites aren't so wide-eyed after all, boasting members from road-worn ensembles The Instant, The Herd, and Josh Pyke's band. Not to mention that armed with a handful of lilting, slightly spaced out folk jams from debut record The Bowery, they've already graced stages with the likes of Smog and Sea & Cake. Good work if you can get it.
