Organisers have announced that the mystical wonderland that is the Golden Plains festival has now completely sold out, a good five weeks prior to the event that kicks off in country Victoria over the Labour Day weekend. Along with the announcement comes the curious addition to the festival grounds of...The Mongolian Yurt. And the word 'premiuminity'.

'Continuing that commitment to premiuminity, organisers are pleased to announce that a quantity of amazing, hand-made Mongolian yurts will be available to hire at the festival. Mongolian yurts are large, round, canvas-and-wood tent-like structures that have stood the test of time and weather in Mongolia for centuries. Yurts are waterproof, secure and able to keep cool in the heat and warm in the cool. They sleep up to ten people and come with wooden floors, lockable doors, beds, rugs, chairs, tables, – everything you need to do Golden Plains in glorious traditional luxury. There are still no new additions to the already awesome line up that includes Ween, Beirut, Iron & Wine, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Future of the Left, and The Vines, and looks set to continue a commitment to premiuminity for perpetuity.
