Getting The Golden (Plains) Ticket

While the great majority of the 7,500 tickets available to March 2008’s Golden Plains Festival at the Meredith Amphitheatre have been snapped up in the initial subscriber ballot, organisers have scheduled two further opportunities to secure a ticket to the event, which features the likes of Ween, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Beirut, The Vines, Pikelet and many more on a long weekend bill. Approximately 500 tickets will be available from a handful of Victorian retail outlets (Polyester Records in Fitzroy, Greville Records in Prahran, Missing Link in the Melbourne CBD, Capricorn Leading Edge in Geelong, Karova Lounge in Ballarat and Swell Café in Jan Juc) at 10am on Wednesday 21 November, while the few remaining tickets from the subscriber ballot will be sold online from noon on Monday 26 November at www.goldenplains.com.au
