Having just supported The Klaxons and with Cut Copy dates happening early next month, Melbourne art-punks Damn Arms have now confirmed the release of their debut album and a national headlining tour. The Nick Littlemore-produced The Live Artex, the follow-up to several well-received singles and EPs, is available from Saturday 3 November (via Timberyard). Officially all over
Of course they broke up.
Ben plays in Cut Copy, Simon plays in Lost Valentinos, Tim is moving to Japan and Yama is devoting all his time to growing moustaches and buying vintage Nike trainers.
Plug-In City broke up too. Bit of a shame, but they're more interested in the legal profession.
Yeah damn arms were on thin ice when they scaled back to a ''DJ set'', Isn't Yama going to be some kind of engineer or something? I'll have to check out Ian's band Liars, top bloke Ian.
I was meant to say heirs not liars
Ha ha. Freudian slip. I bet Ian would take 'Liars' as a compliment.
