The Go Between Bridge – formerly the Hale Street Link, which connects Milton to South Brisbane – was opened with an outdoor concert on June 25. Performers included Robert Forster, Bob Evans, Josh Pyke, Yves Klein Blue, The John Steel Singers and Angus and Julia Stone. The bridge was named after Brisbane’s finest pop exports The Go-Betweens.
