Behind The Scenes: RIYM’s ‘Candelabra’
Richard In Your Mind’s latest film clip was conceptualised and shot by Brent Griffin (aka SPOD) at his “Magic Castle” studio in Marrickville, Sydney. “I wanted to take a journey through the ‘landiverse’ that the song conjures for me,” he told M+N, “a psychedelic power voyage of dreams, parties, magic, horror, love and death that starts in the jungle, drives down rainbow road through a barrage of parallax barriers and ends in hell.” The clip is currently being completed by Griffin “in isolation riddled with chicken pox”. The song hails from the band’s second album, My Volcano (out June 26 through Rice Is Nice).
