Bleach* Surfing The Fringe festival will celebrate all creative pursuits inspired by surf culture from 11-26 Feb 2012. For 16 days, across 10kms, over 80 artists and musicians will be on display at a range of over 55 music, art, fashion, film and photography events sharing the common theme of surfing.

Ever changing like the ocean, the festival will embrace gallery settings as well as a series of free beachside pop up events, like art housed in shipping containers, mobile guerilla-style music truck concerts, a street party, and outdoor light shows and cinema experiences. Other key events include a series of music performances by the likes of Blue King Brown, The Break, Inner Tube, Tijuana Cartel, Goons of Doom, King Tide, Band of Frequencies, Depths of Balsa, Tabura, The Oceanics, Sure Cut Kids, The Lamplights and many many more.

From the spectacular natural rock formations at Currumbin to Coolangatta’s iconic pointbreaks, the shoreline of the Southern Gold Coast will set the ideal stage for a celebration of surfing’s vibrant fringe culture.
