Melbourne Indie-folk band Husky recorded their forthcoming album in their backyard bungalow in the heat of summer and the fever of a vision. Husky's music is full of warm and plaintive pianos, urgent drums, powerful guitars, tambourines, musical pots and a vintage piano accordion passed down to lead singer, Husky Gawenda, from his grandfather. Husky's voice is alternatively sweet and pure and urgently down deep and powerful. The songs weave a sort of tapestry of sound, lyrics and instruments fusing and swirling, filling the space with rich layers of sound and emotion and captivating audiences across the land. On their way to LA to mix their brand new album with producer Noah Georgeson (Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom), Husky launches their second single 'Hundred Dollar Suit' at the Toff.
