"new zealand - don't expect too much, and you'll love it!"
ha, the consulates funny.
its pretty much tenacious d 2 though, isn't it?
will still watch.
I remember them from that Stand Up show ages ago (4, 5 years?). "Albie the Racist Dragon" is an excellent song.
Mind you I was about 14 at the time.
"Albie cried a tear. A JELLYBEAN, all the colours of the rainbow!"
just watched it.
shortled lots.
i just got a bunch of audio of this loaded to my ipod, looking forward to giggling.

enjoy the mid-season peak before it goes a bit wobbly at the end
tonight's episode is directed by michel gondry!
I didn't know that, no wonder I thought that episode was shit. Aussie stereotype jokes
hahahahahahahahah
sigh
Feature on them in Jetstar's inflight magazine at the moment. They seem a bit dumb in real life.
Jetstar inflight magazine is not real life. it's some hyper glamourized yet reasonably priced version of life to match the budget jet-set.
garfunkling. snigger
they might be dumb, but they sure are pretty.
Does anyone know them or have a connection with them? I want to get an autograph for a friend in the states.
A long shot, maybe - but I tried.
I'll sign whatever yer got..... they'll never know
Watching this now, in a hostel in Zagreb
i thought the Gondry one was good - the song at the end was really funny
my dad's so aussie he's in prison
after only seeing the first ep on TV before i got the DVD, i didn't have high hopes for season two... but plenty of gold.
POSING A THREAT
''Flight of the Conchords'' versus a real New Zealand Consulate
The following story was born of curiosity, of Sunday nights spent watching the HBO series ''Flight of the Conchords'' and of gorging the other day on Season 2 of this deadpan musical comedy, which just came out on DVD. Like Jemaine and Bret, the show's hapless heroes, a struggling New Zealand folk duo who follow their every whim, we began to wonder -- Chicago has a New Zealand Consulate, right? And, assuming so, is it anything like the New Zealand Consulate on ''Flight of the Conchords''? Is there a deputy cultural attache? Is he or she anything like Murray Hewitt, the Conchords' clueless manager/attache? Do the interiors appear to have been designed during a 1973 wood-paneling party? And is the building itself set apart from other, more popular consulates -- like the consulate on ''Flight of the Conchords,'' so sad and lonely it seems to be sitting at the nerd table at lunch?
....
Arj Barker always brings the gold
Album has leaked.
I just re-watched the first series. Um, did anyone else notice Daryl Hall (Holland Oates) hosting the World Music Jam in episode 10? Because I sure as shit didn't the first time around. Stunning.
