Always a great day, and for the first time I won't have to go to work that night! Thus I will be getting hammered.

crackwhore  said about 5 years ago:

worst band line up in the 14 years of existence, not that it's ever been of any real importance mind you.

a truly unique celebration.

The event hopes to raise over $70,000 for Sacred Heart Mission, which provides vital

immediate needs such as food, shelter and clothing, the Mission provides long term support

I reckon it'll be an excellent day and it's definitely worth crossing the river for!

End the north-south rivalry!

anonymous  said about 4 years ago:

north south rivalry's moved from the river anyway, its at alexander parade now.

history  said about 4 years ago:

The rivalry is really only a winter thing anyway.

TimChuma  said about 4 years ago:

Evo said people should consider the good the event has done for the community and it is not really about the bands.

I have seen the following bands on the day and related events since 2002:
Clip Clop Club, Dilli Allstars, Rocket Science, Roadhouse, Spazzys, Killjoys, Paul Kelly, TISM, Magic Dirt, The Almaboobies, Rebecca's Empire, Weddings Parties Anything, Dallas Crane, The Cheats, The Twits, The Spazzys, Cosmic Psychos,Grant Hansen's Big City Rock Band, The King City Seven, Dave Graney & Clare Moore, Matt Walker & Ashley Davies, The Meanies, Man's Ruin Burlesque

crackwhore  said about 4 years ago:

of course its not about the fuckin' bands but it doesnt hurt to have some fuckin' good ones play does it?
