Getting a guitar couriered??

ourkid  said about 5 years ago  or at  10:25PM on Wednesday, May 16 2007 in chat

I am selling a guitar on ebay, a jumbo acoustic and as it has no case I set it as 'pick up only'. Some guy in Sydney (I am in Melbs) is very keen and wants to know what the courier cost would be to send it. I have never had anything couriered, let alone a guitar with no case. Is this do-able? It is not a high-end guitar but would it cost the moon?

Any help would be handy.

Hey, why you got a picture of me in your box?

I'm the moon

If you specified pick up only it's his responsibility to organise a courier.

I've been the moon for...many moons...Neil Armstrong, walking on me face.

Just contact a courier, i'm sure they've dealt with this kind of thing before and know how to handle it.

Probably cost jsut under $100

He was more asking if I knew the cost goldfoot (which I don't), but I guess you are right. I am pretty new to the whole ebay thing and am perhaps being over-helpful!
