Because for whatever reason they are now gone boo kaput...

I have had The Jaynes, Shop Front Windows stuck in my head all day! Wish i could see them again. Actually does anyone know what ever happened to them?

i reckon hey. how the heck did they (augie march) get so big? the hole in your roof especially and pretty much all tracks from their 1st album kicks one crowded hour for sure.

but youth group from 1998-2005 era was fucking awesome. at least they're still good live from what i've heard lately.

astralwerkor  said about 5 years ago:

yeah, still got it live. last time i saw em they ripped another one.

It just takes one perfect single... i had a friend who was always trying to get me into Augie March, so when the new album comes out he plays me 'One Crowded Hour'. on his iPod. when i'm at uni and distracted and messed up... and halfway through it feels like its been years since i've heard anything that beautiful

guess i wasn't the only one

Mouth. Friend burnt me an ep of their from 93 that is excellent. Some 'em at an all ages show at the Riverside Inn in 94 while in Melbourne on work experience. Made me realise there was more to life than Metallica.

Deep Where all fucking drown.

I am no less upset by their demise than i was months ago.

and i sorely miss the forefathers before Steve had to go and join Jet. That was a bummer but then their shows were so poorly attended you can't blame the man for taking an opportunity
