i know you're probably opening this up expecting a flyer. well, you'l get one. i have three perth shows this weekend. it is my FIRST TIME to ever visit the west coast of australia. seriously. i have no idea where i am staying or what i am going to do during the days or on the nights of the first two days i am going to be there (wed/thu). hence the typing in this otherwise spam of a thread. someone fill me in. perth people?

ALSO, please recommend vegan food place if there is one

i think you just missed everyone, it seemed everyone from perth was all online an hour ago and it was bizarro world. there are vegan food places, but i don't know the names of any of them.

bakery on a sunday. hmmmm. anyway, i know i said i was orf, but i'm back and i'm from perf. i would offer a place of temp resisdence, but i live far too far out for you to consider staying here. for vegan food try annlakshmi in northbridge, a hare krishna run pay what you want type outlet. i'm sure there is more but i'm not vegan so i don't know. for other shits and stuff to do, ask me again tomorrow, i am very tired right now.

alpsofmessandnoise  said about 5 years ago:

ok i will ask you tomorrow! mmm krishnas. hope they don't use ghee. i'm sure i will find somewhere to stay. i've only ever slept under the stars twice.

astralwerkor  said about 5 years ago:

you'll find somewhere. someone was telling me about palm court gallery the other day. it sounds good. what sorts of teh muzaks is you?

alpsofmessandnoise  said about 5 years ago:

shit, i don't know. i don't really listen to music that sounds like the music i make so it's hard to compare. i use analog keyboards, organs, drum machines, pedals, and sometimes percussion, and other acoustic instruments. recorded it's more like lofi indie pop and has gotten comparisons like microphones meets minimum chips and pumice meets ctfpa. live it usually ends up a lot noisier, either improv drone stuff or just faster more overdriven versions of the same songs, mostly because i'm too nervous to play quiet. www.myspace.com/alpsalps might help?

astralwerkor  said about 5 years ago:

yeah, i went there in the interim, and i like this shit. i may have to come to one of teh shows me thinks. maybe the gallery one, never been there before.

annalakshmi on the barrack st. jetty is vegan as far as i'm aware. also great on a budget because you pay what you want.

i work at the bakery, so maybe i'll see your show.

is there not one in northbridge too chiko? a hare krishna place that is?

russiancaravan  said about 5 years ago:

There was a Hare Krishna place on William Street in Northbridge, Food for Life I think it was called? That still there?

Have fun in Perth, alps. Beaufort Street (street of the Scotto where you'll be playing on Fri night) is good for a coffee, wander round, browse in Planet Video and Planet Books.

chikoroll  said about 5 years ago:

yep there is govindas on william st. northbridge. hare krishna food, pay $2.50 for a large takeout container of rice and veg after 4pm. They also do a $7 all you can eat lunch. The problem with govindas is they don't have a real lot of variety, and the quality isn't all that high.
