Against a wall of derision, i'll say i like this band and am looking forward to purchasing their album, even though the reviews have been so-so. Any others takers?

Album has some catchy, concise pop songs.
Nope, every song sounds like a variation on that first single where he used to cross the aprk at night and buy some milk after staying in bed all day. Honestly I cannot tell apart the last 4 or so songs of theirs Ive heard on triple J
I listened to the album on Rupert's space last night. It sounded like it could be a grower.
good to hear. i'm not expecting anything groud-breaking, just some nice toons that i can have in my head for a while.
i like these guys a lot, they are an excellent live band. but i feel they are three years behind to make any impact commercially. it would be good if they did though.
they left me a bit cold last time i saw em live. first time they were great, but the second they lacked the intensity. funny.
really like them, really like the album too. last couple of shows i saw live where really good

oh god. i just fell in love with this album.
i am really sad that no one else wants to talk about this album.
i havent been this excited about an aussie release in ages.
poor hj :(
i know mondo!
i just fell in love with a song about falling in love.
These guys are great live I was lucky enough to be at their very first gig.
I haven't got my hands on the album yet but I'll be grabbing a copy at their next gig.
They're on Dew Process with Sarah Blasko and The Grates, and if they get the kind of promotion The Grates did I'm sure they'll do pretty well.
Hi Wonky!
They are worthy of the same promo for sure.
the album is really great.
watch out housie... this is the new ryan adams.
they're playing at our staff drinks tomorrow. which is kind of sad.
lucky tiger!
crazy is the lovliest song i have heard in a while.
makes me warm and tingly and want to dance a bit crazy.
I love this album also, HJ. you are not alone.
good work number none.
i hope they come to melbourne (again) soon.
i want to do some swooning.
I don't swoon
I am in sydney but have annoyingly only had the chance to see them once in the last year.
i like to swoon over lovely lyrics.
still haven't picked it up, but it'll happen sometime.
I like it. It's playing on my iTunes now.
astralwerkor. DO IT
i am loving this cd.
astralwerkor. DO IT
um, yes ma'am....
its a shame they are re-releasing the old songs as singles. if you missed it the first time round stiff shit i say. Loved the Ep, the album is good but not as good as i was expecting. But for a debut very accomplished. I mean even Radiohead released Pablo Honey.
Hehehe, don't kill me jane, but I still haven't got around to this. :P
astral! i am ashamed of you!
i didn't like the album at first and i really wish they wouldn't keep re-releasing the singles. but i'm warming to it now.
Sorry. It'll happen!
i only recently bought this. its one hell of a break up album. i find it really liberating and heart-lightening. it could do without 'you were there', which i feel breaks up the album's flow too much, aside from that love it love it love it.
so these dudes are touring with dEUS in belgium. WTF? then i ask email about them having no knowledge of them apart from their name here and there, and even she don't know much about them. which. frankly. was shocking. tell me.
what?
about them. their myspace wasn't particularly........interesting. i'm wondering how they got the gigs and what i'm missing.
Basic gist is management for Placebo in the UK have picked them up via a friendship connection with Universal here is Oz.
That happened slowly over last 6 months, but they've only just moved last week to live indefinitely in Berlin. Deus tour resulting from new management. Germans should dig 'em.
nice, very nice.
