If it's sweet and yella, you got juice there, fella.
If it's tangy and brown, you're in Cider town.
mmmm....pints of flat cider filled to the rim.
i've been on the Cider nd black tonight.
£1.55 a pint, and the black takes away the taste of vinegar...
There's a cider called HARDCORE which I like. Applecore tap. Pretty strong from memory. Bad memory.

Hmm, wonder if you are thinking of Harcourt Cider, tangy....
Sorry for the 9 month old bump.
I love Harcourt cider. Worth another trip to Castlemaine for it.
Everything is worth another trip to Castlemaine!
ps- you can pick up Henry of Harcourt cider in melbs....
Where, pops?
Here Kuro!!!
Ace, thanks pops!
cider renaissance going on.
magners around, bulmers on tap all over the shop (inc pony!) little creatures releasing pipsqueak cider, the harcourt ones available just around the corner (including the perry) and a ever increasing cider section at good bottle-o's that isn't strongbow or mercury.
Bress cider (also from Harcourt) is good too

props to the thread...
I love my magners and my bulmers and my pipsqueak - SEE LIAM!! - GOOD CIDER
oh wow, yum. i'm going to hunt down pipsqueak the next time i fancy a drink!
there's a fabulous fancy pants one that comes in a champagne bottle which i tried once at the NSC. mmmmmm! expensive (think it was $5 for a champagne glass?) but very highly recommended. incognito and i saw another or perhaps the same champagne bottle cider in the bottle-o the other week for $30 a pop. ouch.
my very favourite is the pink cider you can get on tap in NZ, which i forgot the name of. god, what a wonderful country. being able to walk to the corner store for 1.5 liters of the stuff in a soft drink bottle is the way it should be!
i miss scrumpy jack. the added pear juice made that drink.
there's a pear cider that nony pointed out to me in duncan's on the weekend - he'll probably be writing a far more useful post about it right now.
naw, its just henry of harcourt (link up the thread from pops) make a local perry. (pear cider)
the champagne ciders i've seen around as well.
and a couple of other locals & imports i cannae remember.

second best, free lunch cider would top it.
how do you know who was paying?
Two Metres Tall (the people who make the Huon cider) are now doing a perry cider. I've not tried it yet but I was chatting with the woman who makes it the other day. I'll pick some up on Saturday, I reckon.
currently trying to fement apple juice in a mates home brew kit, praying to god it works out and im not left with litres of vinegar on my hands
one of rekorderlig's two berry flavours (can't remember which) taste vile. like sugar + medicine.
Think all of rekorderlig Ciders are vile, Anok. Blah!
too sweet
We're doing mulled cider at the bar.
Tastes like apple pie!
Hippy Squared
MISSING CIDER
mulled cider yummmm. we coming.
yeah spidey - they're not all as bad as the medicine though.
Rekordelig's winter cider - so yummy!! Cider with cinnamon & vanilla flavour.
tastes even better if you heat it up.
Yeah, I reckon it would. Unfortunately I only bought one bottle when I had it the other night, and couldn't be arsed heating it up. I may have some hot ones tonight, maybe.
this stuff is waaaaaayyy too sweet.
I'm late to the cider party but I just want to say that I have recently discovered Magners and I love it. I would drink it for brekfast if I could. But that would make me alcoholic. And broke.
that goes for all Rekordeligs
Waaaaaaaay too sweet
