I spent an arvo trawling through AFL on YouTube. It's fucking hard to find and there's very little there. Hopefully people will post highlights n' shit this season. Maybe the bogans have worked out how to use it by now.
shame he can't even get off the ground at the moment.
snap davo!
yup
great mark that one. there's a few others floating around too. and some where he launched sky high but didn't quite come up with the ball at the end of it.
i'll never forget this mark
:(
gary moorcroft has taken some screamers.

Any photos of Capper in his prime? The lowest flying speccy demon of all time. I remember the one he took with his stomach on some dude's head. Crazy.

Cazayly
Coleman
my dad still talks of the day he was at windy hill when he was young. couldnt see a thing from up the back, but all of a sudden, out of nowhere, one man rose above all the other players on the ground to take a spectacular mark.
its all he saw the whole game !
Jeff Farmer took a great one when playing for Melbourne against Richmond in about 95 or 96, right over Garry Lyon and Scott Turner

thankspoprocks.. one day i will learn to use the intarnet properly..
*tries to find Shaun Smith's (Melbourne) mark at the gabba where he jumped over the goal post and took a screama and then was going to say "I was at that game and saw it" awesome..
I remember someone in the crowd took a photo of it right behind the goals, it's got to be around somewhere
TAZZAAAAAAA!!!
he'll be taking them for the dockers this season clem, he might even get to a granny.
sav rocca's dropped a hell of a lot of good marks in his time.
jezza wins. thanks to kuro and everyone else.

Jezza and sos by a mile.

pops, you got your membership - ready to stone some crows??
punch, i aint had a membership since i was 16. i dont get to many games cause of hockey...
:(
monty: HELL YES!
indeed clem, it be one of my favourites...
Coleman!!! yeah!

this one's pretty famous too:
I know it has been said but Shaun Smith vs Brisbane is the best I've seen at AFL level.
As a spectator in the crowd the best I've seen is a toss up between gaz over pert an Brett Allison in 1990 (??).
The best I've officially ever seen though was by Richmond speedstar Michael Mitchell who one day (while playing for Claremont in the WAFL) decided to stand on his opponents head and take a grab! Wasn't the cleanest of marks but boy was it a spectacle.
If anyone finds that on youtube let me know.
Jezza's mark will always be the most famous though because of the moment. Talk about a way to boost morale and win the flag.
i reckon shaun smiths is the most spectacular. that was just incredible.
god i hated brett allison.
This is fucking amazing
Yeah something about players wearing sleeves that doesnt sit well with me pops.
My best live memory is Winmar standing on Tuck's shoulders in front of the grandstand at Moorabbin in about 89. But I was quite young at the time so it might've grown in my memory.
That Moorcroft mark always gets me when I watch it.
tony modra
Someone from Richmond took Mark of the Year on the weekend.
Kelvin Moore it was
The best Iv seen while at a ground was the Jeff Farmer one, when he was at Melbourne, over Lyon and Scotty Turner, almost jumped clear of both their heads, idiot took it on the chest though, doesnt look so great on the chest
The big Otto!
