Yers. Played it on Monday's show, I did. 'Action' is a great tune, and that other one with a riff that sounds vaguely like a Superchunk song...
i can't wait to get my hands on this. middle ground is such a great song.
...as are the others, but 'tis my favourite. ;)
Haven't heard it yet, but he's fucking great, and the nicest dude ever.
I've heard little bits over the place, stunning as ever. I hold my collection of Popolice tapes close to my heart from when he was an NZ based lad.. one of the finest moments to be magneticised is Marc's mum coming in mid song and asking about dinner.
i love this man and his music is pop-smithery geniuq. the newey is more upbeat and danceable, for sure. i just wish it were longer! more exciting news to come for him later this year too, i hear.
Spill the beans big boy! I don't feel like waiting till the weekend to ask him.
its avaliable at afterdark records if your keen.
i got it but it's at a friends house dammit
Available at Missing Link?
Mark is awesome!
i got a copy of both of his eps recently and they are damn spiffy!
They are indeed.. Wadley mastering fun.
forceback is my favourite, but middleground is amazing too...
haha, i wish i could hear this
Last time I went in to Missing Link they had cassette copies of Mark's earlier albums. Well worth checking out I say.
i love this guy... have all his material,,, and constantly swing between middle ground and forceback..... currently forceback is in my stereo.
he also joined my band onstage for our cd launch.. for our favorite song... and is an impecable guitarist..... marc ... you rock!!
GO MARK!
Next weekend he'll be appearing at a house party in mode = Popolice vs John Butler Fucks Kids.
Details coming soon.
Sounds like fun.

So good supporting Bang Bang Aids! on Saturday night. Very impressed.
You're drumming with him? Superb!
we had chats about it. now we just need to make it happen!!
I'd pay to see that happen, in hugs and beer obviously.
the best kind of payment!!
go sveltes!!! that would be great to hear and see
I have been hassling this cunt to make a band for a while out of this popolice
So have I. When I have a spare 5 minutes I'm gonna hold his head underwater until he agrees.

New band, The Welcome Fight (featuring Marc Popolice, Kerillee and Natalie) will support Go Genre Everything for their CD launch tonight at Loophole (670 High Street, Thornbury). Start time is around 7:30.
Damn I wish I could make this. Have a good one.
Cheers mulligan... gotta hook up an Oldie gig!!!!!!
yea sounds good, but i've got plans too. loophole was chocked full of anarchists an hour ago when we walked past. might be a tough crowd... looking forward to checking it out sometime though :)
could listen to popolice any day
This arvo at IDGAFF:
5 - Penguins
5:45 - Brain Drain
6:15 - Brain Drain Vs Popolice
6:45 - Popolice
The plan is to segue between the Brain Drain and Popolice sets so you will be subjected to non-stop music/noise for over an hour. Lucky you!
$5.
Playing tonight at Tote with Brain Cartridge Load Era and Ivy St. If you like listening to failed funk disguised in noise, this might interest you.
have a great gig! :)
Popolice fans should know that a whole heap of his back catalogue is available to mail-order from http://wdybm.com for sensible prices. Tapes include the live one, Forceback, self-titled (or ''Early Popolice'') from the late 90s, and the CD's include ''Middle Ground'' and ''Improvisations for CD-R'' w/ Brain Drain.
There's also a really nice New Estate one which features one of the best songs I've heard of Marc's, ''Someone Else's Dream''. Totally amazing. And the two Enclosures tapes are up there too! Lots to indulge in. And willing to cut a deal/combined postage for anyone that wants to buy multiple things of course - whydontyoubelieveme@gmail.com
I'd also like to say his set last night at The Old Bar was awesome!
