tats are lame, i went through a phase last year where i wanted tattoos like devendra banharts, he is the only person that looks goot with them though. and i think nick zinner's little star tat is pretty good too. my friend got a big RATM star on his bicep and regrets it ALOT.

just writing a new record at the moment, but we kinda took a break towards the end of last year, just to re-charge a bit and work on new songs, like we have been gigging fairly solidly for the last 7/8 years or so, so we had a bit of 7 year itch around last year,

i think we got 6 songs in the can for the record, just getting the rest sorted etc and then there's a doco that we're making on the band as well, we've had a bloke filming since we recorded the album in 08, came with us to the US etc and that'll be ready same time the album is and it'll probably come with the album

we're not in any huge rush though, we're VERY lucky we got a small but very loyal bunch of folks who dig hcgs and we figure it's not like radio/festivals or anything like that is bashing down our doors (not a whinge at all, we know what kinda music we play and its 'viability' lol) so we can take our time and just make sure the record gets us off personally, everything else is gravy

i have often thought about getting a band-related tattoo (most often at soundwave where it seems you get one with your ticket), but so many bands that i thought i loved 10 years ago i never listen to now.
