Not sure how it's spelt, but they're great!

Anyone know where to get one?

huacanini  said about 5 years ago:

You in Melb or Syd?

drizabone d  said about 5 years ago:

Disposal stores used to be the go for those!

huacanini  said about 5 years ago:

And markets... if you're in Melb I'd try Preston Market or Pipeworks....

unvisible  said about 5 years ago:

Is it right or wrong to team a duffle coat with a duffle bag?

Also, what does "duffle" mean?

littlearch  said about 5 years ago:

duffle is the material it's made out of, unvisible

unvisible  said about 5 years ago:

interesting.

if they laugh at me at the fabric store, I'm blaming you.

littlearch  said about 5 years ago:

fair enough

why are you going to ask for duffle at the fabric store?

Goal attack  said about 5 years ago:

in melbourne - sam bear, russell st, city, between lt bourke and lonsdale. It's a disposals store and they have the rad shit - bonds t shirts, yakka shirts and the like. and knives.

unvisible  said about 5 years ago:

dsico  said about 4 years ago:

Can't find anywhere in Sydney to get one though. Let me know if you find some?

actually I vaguely remember seeing some in Myer or somewhere like that the other day thinking - yeah a bit late.

rosie  said about 4 years ago:

if you know small block cafe in lygon st, it was in the block north of that one the same side.

they're back (so you can probably find billabong branded ones) but i reckon they're pretty perennial, you'd probably find them at DJs/Myer/etc and you've got enough gold bullion to leave scoping out bargains to music journos.

dsico  said about 4 years ago:

I used to have a crappy old one that was a bit too big for me that I got from a vinnies circa 94.
but i left it somewhere when pissed and never got it back.

I've always wanted a better one. but not too nice looking.
I'll let you know if i see any

calico  said about 4 years ago:

i'll keep my eyes open luke.

elaine  said about 4 years ago:

I made a duffle coat about a month ago. It has improved my winter experience and I no longer fear the outside world.

Possession of a duffle coat may be said to resemble deep fried gold.

littlearch  said about 4 years ago:

Amy has an awesomely royal purple one, but it doesn't have a hood

i couldn't wear one, i'd feel about 5 years old

filterfeed  said about 4 years ago:

i wore mine last night and was still freezing. maybe i'm not wearing it right.

littlearch  said about 4 years ago:

yr not meant to wear it naked underneath

filterfeed  said about 4 years ago:

oh, right.

i am 5 years old.

littlearch  said about 4 years ago:

do five year olds get around naked under their duffle coats? that's one for frig i reckon

just cos i'd feel 5 doesn't mean you have to

filterfeed  said about 4 years ago:

please don't ruin this thread any more than i just did.

thanks.

littlearch  said about 4 years ago:

but but but

FILTERFEED!!!

dsico  said about 4 years ago:

Why are Duffle Coats only for kids?

littlearch  said about 4 years ago:

who said they are?

skiptracer  said about 4 years ago:

i wear one arch, i'm not five. i love my duffel.

littlearch  said about 4 years ago:

i said they would make me feel about 5 years old

pagey  said about 4 years ago:

i have a cream duffel coat with faux-sharktooth buttons that i was slightly obsessed with last winter, but i spilt cranberry juice all over the sleeve and could never be arsed handwashing it out so i don't wear it anymore.

it did make me feel about five, but there's nothing wrong with a bit a reverse paedophilia now and then..

dsico  said about 4 years ago:

perhaps i'll go looking for one at lunch today.

Sydney CBD - Suggestions?

PaulsGrandfather  said about 4 years ago:

So, we're coming up to that time again.

I'd love a nice new coat. Anyone seen/bought any good ones?

ourkid  said about 4 years ago:
