Mudhoney have been rubbish the last ten-twelve years. I wouldn't say they are better, perhaps better than Bleach though,
I listened to some old Mudhoney last night.
Better than Niravan!
For me it's Inutro > Mudhoney (Self titled)
Both really good, but Nirvana win in the song writing stakes.
Wasn't there a possible WH-Mudhoney match-up in the US?
I love Mudhoney. Flat Out Fucked is a great song.
Touch Me I'm Sick has to be one of the best songs to come out of the whole Seattle grunge x-plosion...
Mudslide is my fave.
do you mean mudride, season+juwaan?
if so, your taste is impeccable.
Ha ha yes that's what I meant, what a knob! What a song!
What LP's stand up to Self Titled and Super Fuzz?
I need more honey, but being that I have the 1st, and the last, I'm worried about whats inbetween.
Do youse like the song, You Got It. ?
I think thats my fave song they do.
saw em at the Burland Community Hall in Newtown in the 80's. Fucking top show. Massapeal and someone else supported.
Anyone else go to this show who can shed some info re: dates and other support act?
In N Outta Grace is easily my favourite tune. The freakout in the middle is UNFUCKWITHABLE!
i'd recommend getting every good boy deserves fudge. lots of folks hang shit on that album, but i still rate it.
Get the Revolution / This Gift 12''. Also, ''Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge'' have a couple of hihghlights such as ''Let It Slide'', ''Thorn'', and ''Into The Drink'' on it. Most people will probably disagree with me though.
zing!
That's what I get for not refreshing. Listen to Kandos.
Nirvana lose, because their lead singer's dead
Also, EGBDF came with a cushion cover on the record
I've got the this gift 12''
my copy of EBGDF is poo brown coloured vinyl. orsum.

Awesome show at the Corner.
The 90s still rule!
indeed!!
kim?
There was a lot of young faces in the crowd, as well as not as young.
What a great gig, and an awesome last gig to play before leaving the country.
All the Mudhoney guys are great dudes.
I had such a good time tonight I've come home and logged on here for the first time this year. I really had a good time PKE-ing, thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was great seeing Precious Jules sounding big with a good sound and a huge PA, Kim was jovial inbetween and hard-rocking during the tunes, and Mudhoney were as always pure class, Mark Arm's voice stronger than ever and the band exactly the right blend of tightness and looseness, and a great set with lots of new tunes as well as old, everyone was friendly and having a blast, a great night of music.
But it is my first post in a year, and I apologise for delivering a subjective same-night gig review (the decreasing quantity of these is one of the things I miss most about M+N) instead of a narcissistic rant about other chats peppered with psycho-self-analyses vaguely linked to some band or song that's trending in coolsie land or whatever. So have you missed me?
I missed you Buffy :]
Looking forward to seeing these guys tomorrow night, it would have been the 90's when I last caught them.
Right now Mudhoney is the first and last band I have seen live with almost 20 years to the day between the shows. Still smiling from Tuesdays gig
That was pretty amazing. I totally agree with the comment that Mark's voice is stronger than ever. Great band, great gig, great guys. Sometimes you forget how much you love a band until you find yourself losing your shit singing every line back to them.
Same, BDO in 1992, one of my first ever gigs. There were a couple of slower sludgy songs in the middle which were rad and I didn't recognise, does anyone know which ones i am talking about coz I wanna track them down. Awesome show.
That was a great show. They managed to get away with mixing in the new stuff with the old without losing the interest of the crowd. Not many 'nostalgia' bands can get away with that.
Their new stuff was awesome.
The Mudhoney performing the ultimate grunge anthem and their first ever single way back in 1988, ''Touch Me I'm Sick'' last night at Corner Hotel. It totally went OOOAAARRRFFFF! ㋡

Mark was telling me last night that Keith Morris was going to join them in Brisbane to sing ''Fix Me''. He couldn't do it because of his management/coping with diabetes. He hinted you may see that collaboration at The Corner tonight at the OFF! show.
Mark's face during the stage invasion during 'Sweet Young Thing' was GOLD.
What a great gig. So glad I went. Thanks to the good Samaritan who got me a ticket.
Could of been louder.
The guitars especially.
The Corner show was fucking amazing. Couldn't have wished for more. The supports were very well picked too, though I was hoping Kim Salmon would join Mudhoey on stage for some songs from their collaborative album ''until...''.
Hobart was gig of the year for me. Mudhoney were amazing!!
Has anyone got a spare ticket for the July 27 gig at the Corner they could sell me?
