yeah, im going to the stabs.
ass collective too.
Cool, say hi from me then....haha
They've licenced Just Like Honey to advertise a Boss perfume.
They're off the artistic integrity roll call now
fuck, weren't they well and truly off it when they performed with scarlet?
or when they played with letterman's house band as their actual band in like, 94 or whenever it was?
I'm pretty sure that back in those days, EVERY musical guest on the Late Show had to use tyhe house band as their backing band. I remember seeing Dinosaur Jr doing Feel The Pain with Paul Shaffer rocking out on the keys in the background. I think they would just put the CBS Orchestra so low in the mix that you couldn't actually hear them.
really?
fuck.
They've said all along that they're total sell outs, and thats what they wanted from day one.
Doesn't tarnish their music IMO
Yeah, true story. There's a great clip of Safari lineup Breeders on youtube somewhere.
Boss perfume?! Fuck you guys heaps.
well, at least they are doing it for a music related company.
i mean, they make all those pedals and stuff...
Hahah. I heard of bands making agreements banning Jools Holland from getting up and plonking away with them. I cannot see the ego of Shaffer standing for such a thing!
i don't know, ali g made quite a valuable contribution to help the aged by pulp (or jarvis cocker on his show).
HAs anyone seen the guy about town (Melb) that is heaps Chain looking?
He's got the hair, the sunnies, the tude?
I keep running into him drunk and want to go and talk to him, but friends tell me not too.
Just saw him again too.
Not important at all, just wanna see if he can play guitar
you'd wanna hope he could.
It's silly really, but yeah, look'n for some dork to play guitar with me, and he LOOKS like he'd be my kinda guy.

all have seen that no doubt, amazing.
I love the bit where the interviewer asks Doug
''So I see your bass has only 2 strings, did you break 2? or haven't got around to getting more or what?''
''Thats the way it is, I'm not going to spend more money on 2 more strings, 2 is adiquite, anyone can play this bass''
or somthing like that,
Sorry, one more.
''I also noticed that your guitar isn't conventionaly tuned, why is that?''
''No you see your wrong, Williams in always correctly tuned, mine isn't, but thats cause mines for kicking''
