Good?

What did you get up to?

september  said about 5 years ago:

i watched the footy on saturday night with devilwillride.

go dees!

freaksandgeeks  said about 5 years ago:

in the spa?

triptolemus  said about 5 years ago:

Was good.

Tripto Jr took MrsTripto & I for breakfast on Saturday morning...that was nice. Otherwise relaxed Saturday & spent yesterday in the yard putting garden edges in, we're using bricks from the burnt down house that ours replaced...seems fitting. Dinner at my parents for Dads birthday last night.

How about yourself freaks? You escaped to the country, yes?

de.foxus  said about 5 years ago:

my weekend was wonderful.

although my new haircut makes me look slightly emo.

freaksandgeeks  said about 5 years ago:

Yeah I spent the weekend in Daylesford, drinking and eating mostly. Nice log fire. Spa. Lovely. I need to get away more often.

september  said about 5 years ago:

i didn't think we were going to get up after the pasting we copped in the first quarter...

*rachel*  said about 5 years ago:

i did nothing except wash, clean and cook.

it's all about this weekend.

devilwillride  said about 5 years ago:

I heckled Noiseradio.

sister  said about 5 years ago:

instead of going out on friday night to see eddy current in chapel street, i went home like a sensible old person who has weak lungs.
Saturday, I checked out the Myer sale to see if there were any real bargains. There weren't. Just the shit they had wasting space in the warehouse. However, I bought a couple of half-price singlets to help witht he aforementioned weak lungs and a couple of coffee mugs - one of which broke as soon as I got home.
On sunday, I went on an architectural tour of Melbourne which was the ultimate snooping opportunity.

very very quiet.

september  said about 5 years ago:

did you check out the market in the fed square car park, sister? i would have liked to see that but i didn't read the weekend papers until sunday evening so i didn't know it was on.

de.foxus  said about 5 years ago:

oooh, in the car park!

we tried to go to them, but ended up in a book fair instead. i like books too, so it wasn't a problem.

louis  said about 5 years ago:

the car park thing was good. i went with a little posse of very design-oriented people so i ended up sitting by the river for a bit while they examined everything in detail.

there was mulled wine and very groovy gumboots (not together).

excellent.

Ruby  said about 5 years ago:

My weekend was pretty debaucherous for a lady of a certain age such as myself. Friday night went to a friends place where a group of us had a wild party of piano and singing, neighbours complaining, guitars and singing and the muppet show until the next afternoon.
The rest of my weekend consisted of water and really bad TV.

sister  said about 5 years ago:

my daughter was volunteering at the car park thing.

but i didn't go. My tour set off before the car park thing started and the last house we saw was in Eaglemont, so I jumped ship there and was tucked up in bed with a pot of tea by 3pm.

fakeplasticme  said about 5 years ago:

Sleeping, football, You Am I, DVD buying, 5x episodes of Arrested Development, 2x episodes of The Office (US version).

Goodbye_beret!  said about 5 years ago:

Not bad, one of my friends nearly killing another of my friends at Pony was err... 'interesting'.

blake3030  said about 5 years ago:

Saw eddy current and witch hats friday night, didn't do much saturday, went to an engagement drinnks thing on saturday night and bought a kebab. Went surfing yesterday which was awesome.

Inactivist  said about 5 years ago:

My thighs hurt.

ando  said about 5 years ago:

I don't want to know why, inact.

I went to Lakes Entrance, where I drove, walked, ate and lazed. Was quite pleasant. And I found out my folks are selling their bookshop, which is both good and bad news. No more free books for me :(

anonymous  said about 5 years ago:

will there be a all out crazy sale? we should convoy down there.

I worked, and went to the beach, and stayed up late and went to work at 3am this morning. I'm counting that as weekend because I was home by 8.30am.

kickcat  said about 2 years ago:

heartbreaking,.. my kid moved to the country to live with my mother for a while...largely for educational reasons but also cause of my stupid nightshift job, I got really drunk and behaved like a git, ended up dancing wildly with members of british india (not sure i should mention this).. the guy i want didn't call me back.... sunday, got stoned went out for malaysian food with a coupla mates, drank vodka and watched the watchmen again...my house is quiet, my heart is broken...and right now...I am gonna listen to baseball.

filterfeed  said about 2 years ago:

Burnt myself to a crisp at Sydney Laneway. Epic fail.

filterfeed  said about 2 years ago:

HI DICKSLAP!

my weekend involved sitting firmly on my arse for a majority of the 48 hours due to complete and utter exhaustion. my scheduled jogs were cancelled and monday could not have come soon enough as far as i was concerned.

the story was a little different once this morning actually arrived.

svelteslacks  said about 1 year ago:

sick partner, followed by sick child, mixed in with assessments, too many pistachios and disaster movies.

can i have the weekend again to do over please?

JudyDickslap  said about 1 year ago:

In a word, AWESOME.

louis  said about 1 year ago:

tasty. and pleasingly restful. but now i have swollen tonsils and a swollen gum. i think i just need more weekend to recover.

littlesmoke  said about 1 year ago:

Very pleasant indeed. Spent it with Mum & Dad + my brother in Sydney....weather was lovely, got Dad out & about in our new wheelchair friendly van & then drove back home to Canberra for a lovely evening with Mrs Smoke & Smoke Jr (weather not so good back here in Canberra).

de.foxus  said about 1 year ago:

how's the recovery process going, lilsmoke?

my weekend was actually wed-thurs-fri and i spent the entire time either drunk or hungover, and have been paying for it since with the onset of a nasty cough and cold.

littlesmoke  said about 1 year ago:

Hi Foxy! It's been ages. We'll have to catch up soon.

Recovery is going well. He's not regained any mobility, however he is now well enough to stay with us in our Randwick place most weekends....& we're even planning on getting him in Canberra this weekend for the first time since the accident. It's all a big learning experience for us all at the moment...how to get him around, getting him in/out of car, bed, chair, managing his catheter, etc. Yesterday we took him to a shopping mall for a bit of a ''taking Dad out'' trial run....we coped. :-)

Coz  said about 1 year ago:

That's great news smoke, good luck with it all.

littlesmoke  said about 1 year ago:

thanks Coz!

I feel very dissatisfied with my weekend. Not enough fun/life affirmation.

Is there anything fun/silly/upbeat happening next weekend? I really need to shake things up. (Enjoy yourself it's later than you think etc.)

eep!  said about 10 months ago:

Pretty good actually. Hiked for 2 hours past some freshwater crocs, then waded waist deep in freezing water through a cave for 20 mins to get to a pretty scenic creek at the end. Feeling all 'outdoors' -ey. Wish I'd brought better shoes with me....

hyperfuzz  said about 10 months ago:

my weekend ruled so hard.

postergirl  said about 10 months ago:

I do not think I will be going to Brisbane, but thank you all the same.

tugboat  said about 5 months ago:

Good!

Football, friends, good food, J-Love mixtape, beers and a nice Hendricks & Tonic on sunday night to round it up!

Not enough sex.
