It was a wanky procession of their friends from Camden's scenester scene, straight outta the NME. So pathetic how all these bands suck up to the Mighty Boosh.

That guy who plays Bob Fossil is so annoying! I've always found his material in the Mighty Boosh to be the most unfunny, cringeworthy drivel, and he's even worse in interviews. Instead of actually saying anything funny, he just starts shouting midway through an extremely boring sentence.

Shouting something does not automatically make it funny. It's very grating. It makes him sound like he has tourettes. Or is semi-retarded.

i found the 'musicians' annoying, but i thought boosh were popular in the uk before the tv stuff. i remember seeing auto boosh at melb comedy festival and noel's solo thing. and brixton academy is a shit venue. sardine city.

Oh yeah Kasabian. I couldn't understand anything they said as I just assumed everything they were saying was shit in half-formed sentences filled out with giggles and looks of confirmation to the other guy.

A Chinese fishmonger almost died after an eel swam into his bottom.

Li Chang was sitting on the edge of a tank at a warehouse in Guangzhou in southern China when he fell back into a container of live eels, The Sun newspaper reports.

The 43-year-old said he was horrified when he felt one swim up his trousers and into his anus.

He said he was too embarrassed to tell anyone what had happened and continued working.

But colleagues called emergency services after he collapsed.

Doctors performed a five hour surgery to remove the creature and repair the severe internal injuries caused by it moving around.

''The eel had badly injured the patient,'' a hospital spokesman was quoted as saying.

''If he had not arrived when he did he would have died.

''We expect he will make a full recovery though.''

It's a shame that the Region 4 boxset isn't as readily available as it once was. You can order it online, but it costs ~$85 from most retailers. I remember seeing it at JB Hi-Fi for like $40.

Yeah, well the schtick probably wore thin at the start of MBS3, but still trumps whatever else is on offer.

got 10 mins in. turned it off. luxury comedy my arse!

It's a bit too much of what turned me off about latter seasons of MB. Too much Vince, not enough Howard. There's the odd decent gag/character which is more in line with Noel's rather surreal solo stand-up but most of it just falls flat. It's like he's trying for something as absurd as Tim and Eric but not quite getting there.
