Couldn't find a thread, so here goes...
Played a practice match against Oakleigh Cannons on Wed - debut performances of the brazilians. Apparantly they impressed.

Caceres was solid.
Galekovic seems to have his touch back.
First pre-season match against Adelaide on the 16th (in Tassie).

Awesome, getting mymembership next week, can't wait!
yeah, apparantly the membership packages have a pass to one of the pre-season matches
two new signings, Rockin' Roddy and another Brazilian -
"Alessandro, a 23 year old attacking left back, will link up with fellow Brazilians Fred and Claudinho in the most cosmopolitan squad ever assembled in Australian domestic football history. Victory also boasts former Belgian international, Geoffrey Claeys, Scottish midfielder Grant Brebner and Argentinian-born Adrian Caceras.
The third of Victory’s Brazilian trio, Alessandro Viana Da Silva has stepped straight out of the Brazilian Serie A, the highest division in the country, where his played for Internacional RS. His previous clubs include Novo Hamburgo, ADAP, Angra dos Reis and America.
Former Melbourne Knights captain, Roddy Vargas, has been rewarded for his consistency in the Victorian Premier League with Green Gully, and gains a highly sought after place on one of the country’s most impressive squad lists."
ha, just posted that on the a-league thread..
looking good though.
lets see if they gel.
Rowdy
Rockin'
Hot-Rod
Las Vargas
I am unfamiliar with his personality, but i hope it lives up to the nicknames i will address him by.
I went to see the game on saturday and I want to make two comments.
1) the victory aren't very good
2) it all seems a bit pointless with no away supporters
Go Vics!
yeah, go and learn how to play you useless bunch of cunts

5-zip, looking good so far!
Zing. Lucky. A shit team winning all five games they've played so far.
not the stupidest thing posted today, but not far off
Sporadics?
Anyone going to the game in Sydney this weekend? I''ll be there with a couple of mates.
Useless bunch of cunts, eh?
SIX NIL FUCKERS!!!
what a one sided game, and how stupid is it that our representatives in the asian champions league are going to be that team and fucking sydney. The way victory are travelling they might have done really well in the champions league. fucking stupid bureacracy.
i don't understand why they couldn't have put teams in as "Australia 1" and "Australia 2", then filled the blanks a month later when it was clarified.
oh well, bring on 2008!
Go Victory!
the look of our side will be fairly different though...
Nobody cares about Futboll
bullshit modi, the crowd at the dome was bigger than any afl game they have had there.
they were just there to see Evermore though

Word on the street is that Ange is a done deal.
then again, if what Ernie was saying last week was pretty much true (and no reason for it not to be) may not actually fix anything.
In my opinion Muscat show go along with the huge clean out that needs to happen, and no matter who is the next manager, they need to be allowed to build their own team and be given at least 2 years to produce results.
But yeah, sack the fucken board.
i'm cool with that k2. would much rather live in hope for development, than constant annoyance at a rusty squad. last chance for the board surely.
Some dude from fourfourtwo in brisbane is butthurt at the possibility.
shit article, but aren't the roar in the ACL again next year? probably be enough to keep him around for now...
so, the following are gone: Pondelhack, Brebner, Vargas, Covic, Solorzano, Fabio. All signs point to Hernandez going too. Also Chipperfield seems to have been ruled out by Ange.
wow.
that is quite the cleanout.
thought fabio might stay, but maybe it is a way to get some other internationals on the list.
I hope Brebner earnt enough to pay off those gambling debts.
if he's not playing soccer he can at least afford to have his legs broke.
Any of you cunces goimg to the game this weekend?

Olympiacos fans ripping flares at airport.
Fuck exhibition games.
That said, I'll be reading the match report intensely.
what gabbo said.
Hernandez gone
Please DON'T come to Heart.
Like Heart could afford him.
article says maybe adelaide, but most probably OS (due to price)
Heart can't afford that many KFC...
heary will need a double bypass.
16k people at the game. Ouch
Stupid idea, shouldn't have bothered, but it's 13k more than would have turned up for a Heart game.
