You should go to Taiwan when you are near by.

Why?

Easily one of the best festivals I have EVER been to. Clean, friendly and awesome. It can sell out, but in 2009 we simply bought tickets on the day. Much cheaper to buy all three days, instead of individual, but I took the middle day off to go explore the local area of Naiba.

With a line up like that, flights being reasonable, I'd like to go again this year.

Advice: It always rains. A lot.

When you get to Japan, you can buy at most convenience stores. Otherwise, at the gate is possible most times. Good Luck.
