Temet  said about 1 year ago:

Journalism course falling apart at the seams, just quietly.

golden-shower  said about 1 year ago:

Journalism course falling apart at the seams, just quietly.

Ash-showoff  said about 1 year ago:

philtripp  said about 1 year ago:

I spoke there. You were in the class!

Is your site up yet?

Ash-showoff  said about 1 year ago:

Ha ha, yep.... Running like a dream!

Dingomother  said about 1 year ago:

Im at Burke Street.

i think im one of about seventeen people in the building that arent in the country on a student visa.

Ash-showoff  said about 1 year ago:

I did business subjects and most of the students were international too. I'm really crap at starting conversation so I had a very lonely educational experience.

k2  said about 1 year ago:

building 94 ftw

golden-shower  said about 1 year ago:

yep i'm at the bourke street one as well

soula  said about 1 year ago:

anyone gone to rmit tafe? i'm thinking of doing a course next year, building design aka architectural drafting. i'm just hoping i'm not wasting my time like all the other degrees...the open day is sunday so i'm going to have a look.

mjj  said about 1 year ago:

I've done that course at RMIT soula, although sometime ago now. It used to have a transfer across to architecture at the end, but personally I was jack of being at school and couldn't have done another 4 years study. Anyway I haven't ever been without interesting work so that's a plus

soula  said about 1 year ago:

thanks mjj. i've been thinking of architecture, but after doing degrees i've had enough of theory and would like to learn something useful! is it actually practical? or do you just learn it all on the job anyway? i can't seem to get a drafting job with the little experience i've had with interior drafting and a product design degree.

mjj  said about 1 year ago:

yeah it is practical but you do come out fairly useless and it takes you a couple of years to get up to speed, but that's probably the case with any job. We employ staff who have done the course but expect to do the shitty jobs for the first few years. You have CAD experience yeah?..so that bit should be easy

mjj  said about 1 year ago:

oh and also...the RMIT one is the pick of them it's a lot more design focussed than other TAFE's

soula  said about 1 year ago:

yeah i have plenty of cad experience, i've been drafting for 5 years but manufacturing stuff. i'm sure once i start the degree i'll get a job, but without it i can't seem to get even an interview.

yokota  said about 8 months ago:

Any past students know if or how long after you have completed studies at RMIT, whether your email account becomes deleted?

Ouliposse  said about 8 months ago:

7 months.

STEWSTER  said about 8 months ago:

Hahahaha  said about 8 months ago:

feralmedia  said about 8 months ago:

Hahahaha - LOL! Also, ask SGH.

moo-core  said about 8 months ago:

Admin is fucked. Lots of stuff about RMIT is fucked. But I really appreciated the quality of education that I got. Even though they fucked me.

losgauchos  said about 8 months ago:
