new Trans Am - ''Sex Change''

Cruciphilia  said about 5 years ago  or at  9:57AM on Wednesday, February 21 2007 in music

Just found out about this on allmusic.com... it was released in the US yesterday, but the Spunk website has no mention of it. Any idea if this is coming out in Australia at all, or will I have to get it on import???

It's better than their last record..

michael_horse  said about 5 years ago:

first half is shit
second half is good

djbollocks  said about 5 years ago:

that's encouraging. i thought their last record (Liberation if i'm not mistaken) was excellent.

svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

fuck yes!!!!

Cruciphilia  said about 5 years ago:

thrilljockey.com is streaming the entire album.

I like what I've heard of it so far

the power of 666  said about 5 years ago:

i've gotta give it a good, solid run.

Surrender to the Night & Futureworld are eternal classix.

ProDelgado  said about 5 years ago:

I think trans am can be really really great at times...and also really really fucking shit.

Often within the same song.

anok  said about 5 years ago:

oh cool. i really liked liberation. music for dogs (i think it's called?) is so badass.

svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

this is rad and is going to make such an excellent soundtrack for catching the train in the morning.

song 2 makes me feel like i'm in some crazy sci fi adventure/action scene

svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

i like this.

hiponion  said about 5 years ago:

:)

svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

i am streaming this loudly at work from the thrilljockey site.

kickedintheshins  said about 5 years ago:

wasn't there a link to this album floating around here recently?

SPOD  said about 5 years ago:

This is really, really good! Giving it a good listening too finally.

svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

it is really really good huh!!

i have loved listening to it on the train. i can't keep still.

the drumming is rad.

tawedog  said about 5 years ago:

this album i'm not sure about. the drumming in parts makes it wonderful & excellent, but then there's so much dull programmed stuff like on liberation that's just tedious.

the power of 666  said about 5 years ago:

I kinda thought it was a bit 'meh', but since giving it a good cranking on a decent stereo, it seems to have come to life! Heavy soundage!

JBR  said about 5 years ago:

I LOVE this album! Fucking great band. This record blew me away from the first listen.

anok  said about 5 years ago:

is this on gmail?

JBR  said about 5 years ago:

Can't stop listening to this album, so good.

talkbox  said about 4 years ago:

TICKETS GOT. does anyone know details of the st. kilda show? ie, what part of the espy, what time etc etc. must be organised, must get past festival crush for trans am.

whosgotthecrack?  said about 4 years ago:

after my first attempt to do so got lost in the great data crash of late 2007, here i go again...

when sex change is no longer the latest album and/or you wish to refer generally to the awesome trans ams, i invite you to consider this general trans am thread
