Pyramid's Hefeweizen

Newcastle is good for every day suds.

Keep them current update and suggest me some brews.

brooklyn brewery has this seasonal brew called "Blast" which is like a super IPA.. and they only serve it from a cask..

yurmmm....

other than that i usually end up drinking other brooklyn brewery shite. i like their lager alot, their east india pale ale rules, and the brown ale is tasty.

i've become a boring beer drinker.. that's what i get for living near bodegas and not nice beer stores.

oh! that reminds me. dale's pale ale. my roommates sometime pick it up from whole foods. TASTY LITTLE BABIES RIGHT THERE

on a side note since i have a house and the weather is nice id like to have a beer tasting in the near future. i consider myself to have good taste in brews and am quite the cook. i have the ability to obtain hard to find brews you may not find here in the city as well. i was thinking id gather 5 or so and everyone who comes could bring a favorite of theirs. we could all sample everyones favorites and discuss over some food. then when were nice and toasty we can attack my guinness dartboard and pool table. if youd be interested pm me or something. maybe we could even get our brew on and concoct something crazy like a coriander spiced spring ale with caramel malts and hopping via cascade and fugels? lts do it!

Anybody ever drink (or even see) Harbin Beer back in the states? It's the very first beer ever brewed in China and a staple of the local economy here in Harbin...a few years ago the brewery was bought by Budweiser and they were supposed to start selling Harbin Beer everywhere that they sell Budweiser throughout the world. Anyone ever heard of it? It tastes like beer.

There are alot of ridiculous beer politics here in China. My favorite beer, Asahi, is banned from mainstream sale for political reasons (though you can still find it if you try hard enough) and the Chinese wouldn't even think of drinking any of the other beers that Japanese beer companies try to sell out here. The Chinese also hate Qingdao since brewing it originally was a means to develop German control over Qingdao City, which was annexed from China and given to German illegally. Shit, man...I get a fucking Poli Sci or Chinese History lecture everytime I go out for a fuckin brew!

My beer reviews from two years ago.

I found the above link today and I was falling out of my chair laughing. I also don't remember writing any of that.

''It's very difficult to write a serious review on a beer that is an imported version of Colt 45. No offense to the Japanese, but first they take away our jobs, and now they're sending us their awful malts?''
