Just got home from the most amazing week of 4 Jarvis shows. Melbourne last night was amazing - especially his coat getting stuck on the mic stand and almost wiping out Steve Mackey.

Went also to the Adelaide show at The Gov. Possibly the greatest concert experience I have ever had. Up the front, Jarvis shoes came off, he drank my cider, had a chat with Mr Mackey about Sidewinder of all things.... and then somehow getting passed Jarvis's mic and all I could do was sing Out of Touch by Hall and Oates. Mind you, we had been drinking since being on the plane so we were well sloshed.

See you again in 2 and a half years Sir.

PS. I thought for a split second he was going to play Dishes after mentioning it last night...

drugs > No - apart from what you got in Perth with the doors track. It was spot on every night.

Still ace though. Would have liked to have seen One Man Show or Girls Like it too, but cannot complain.

Is Spicks and Specks appearance confirmed? Will definitely race home early to watch it if it is. I'm still on a high from seeing him and it's been 6 days sigh. Hope he comes back in 2011/12.

It shall be excellent. Back in the day Mr Cocker was on a show called Pop Quiz - I think that was it, I don't remember I only know from a Pulp website. ANyway you know how they have the quick round at the end, well he answered all the questions!

I have always said that if Pulp ever got back together I would go wherever to see them. And the fact that Jarvis came out and did a tour was the next best thing. And now that I've left Uni and have a proper job I can do such things. I would do it again, and I would do every gig.
It was just the most fun, and everyone I met was so lovely.

Hrm, I don't have a TV yet, will it be on iView or whatever they call it?
