without a trace of irony, i'm really enjoying the use your illusion albums right now. i've not listened to them in a while.
let the lynching begin.

fucken awesome.
appetite for destruction - what an album.
lynching? absolutely no way. much respect for gunners.
Sweet Child O Mine is a brilliant driving-to-Meredith song.
20 million went into making the new album.
dont quote me here but it could be out late march 07
They're great albums. Awesome to sing along with.
a friend of mine left a copy of use your illusion,in view in his car so bogans whouldn't break into his car, seemed to work.!
<wouldn't>

what if the bogan didnt have use your illusion? a stolen copy if better then a bought one. axl taught me that
aquatic - almost guarantee march won't happen.
i do believe some time this year though.
i really think this is the year...
don't get bradmurray started....
aquatic-he fugured they'd already have it.
apparently for the last 10 years all axls been doing is waking up around noon, drives to the studio sometimes without a single idea of what he was going to do, get home, work out, go to bed and start all over again..... sounds depressing
that's what he was doing beforehand, though, people were just recording it
>work out
i don't think so. have you not seen any recent photos of mr sausage face? he must spent a fair amount of time (and money) having someone fuck about with his plugs.
anyone who hears it has to sign an agreement not to talk about it outside the studio.
although sebastian bach was asked about it recently in an interview and he said "In one word.... GRAND!"
and why would you trust that cunt;s opinion?
i can't believe i remember every lyric to every song.....
it's fuckin awesome!
he works out? last time i saw him he looked like a fat washed out cunt!?!
sebastian bach is the greatest thing to happen to music eva.
skid row self titled - what an album...
Plus he saved that Sydney show many years ago.. GNR were dull as shit.

Was pretty surprised about how casual and forthcoming he was about things in general.
Good interview
Pretty cool interview, Duff's nearly as cool as Izzy. A true musical journeyman.
great interview! top worth McCarthy
Very good Axl interview done for Adelaide Now, by email. This guy is weird. Apparently life is too short to get the original lineup back.

Good of him to do the interview and answer at length, but he's totally insane.
what a lunatic..
Missed the duff interview YouTube??? Link?
Here you go
Thanks
I posted the link already to the interview... it's on the Banana Lounge page - click on the 'listen' button.
Is anyone else going to see the Melbourne show/s? I'm looking forward to the sheer absurdity of Axl's nu-guns.
From all reports Axl's GNR covers band was a travesty on the weekend. Anyone catch either of the shows?
I thought I read an age review saying that it was great people loved it and they want
More
Went to this debacle last night. Left half way through after Dizzy Reed's version of No Quarter and then Axl returning from his oxygen tank for Catcher in the Rye. I thought I needed to see this final stake in the GNR sideshow as a fan.
They're slick enough not be car crash bad but the whole excercise is just silly enough not to be good. Axl can hardly sing any more and his young shredders do note for note renditions of Slash's solos.
One realises that it was the danger and mystique of the old lineup that made these tunes. There is no feel to any of these once fantastic songs and we're left with a masturbatory tribute band intermittently fronted by a mentally ill relic and an empty merch tent selling 50 dollar t-shirts.
i'm waiting for the day where Axl comes out and says something along the lines of ''Made it! Finally achieved my dream in showbiz. it's been a rough trip at times but it's all been worth it.''
Surely they'll reform in the next 5 years.
It was cartoonish, but still entertaining. Mostly for the freakshow of it all.
Adler, Steve Adler's new band/album. Radio friendly hard rock, MMM will love this shit. I love the way three Sunset Strip shredders have highjacked the brain dead Adler's name and legacy and basically put out their own album under the Adler/GNR banner. File under Axl Rose's bike shorts.
Axl Rose in his pedo phase:
I thought this was a clip from The Chaser at first:
