svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

dreaming is heaps of fun too.

you should give it a go.

shhh  said about 5 years ago:

hey gunshot, isn't that a strange phenomenon? how we put off doing things that are actually enjoyable.

hiponion  said about 5 years ago:

gunshot_glitter  said about 5 years ago:

kabukiboy  said about 5 years ago:

shhh  said about 5 years ago:

plaidplaidgirl  said about 5 years ago:

Man, I haven't done any work today and it's not looking like that will change.

gunshot_glitter  said about 5 years ago:

Im surrounded by paper and a to do list and Im here

plaidplaidgirl  said about 5 years ago:

My boss keeps catching me minimising, and he told me that he doesn't mind if I spend a bit of time online. Doesn't he understand that I need a firm hand? In my mind, that's a carte blanche to do NO WORK EVER.

blue orchid  said about 5 years ago:

i spent all day yesterday procrastinating and today isn't shaping up much better. if i can keep on procrastinating for long enough i'll probably give myself a heart attack sometime sunday afternoon

gunshot_glitter  said about 5 years ago:

focus GG focus...my boss keeps on coming to "give" me things and checks my screen but I can tell...

beertickle  said about 5 years ago:

i got A Class honours in my procrastination degree. That could also be translated ot Class A's helped me get honours in a degree of procrastination.

gunshot_glitter  said about 5 years ago:

agh I am applying for a job online and I'm not even halfway through...I need a schlepp and then a repeated slap to get me back on track

OR

I can just stay here and read threads

Inactivist  said about 5 years ago:

Or that it doesn't actually matter how much you do because you won't be given credit for it anyway.

And also procrastination is appealing to those whom are not actually in a very good position to accurately gage their own capabilities on anything and a move either way could result in more uncertainty and confusion.

Jazzy  said about 1 year ago:

And with that amount being so unpredictable...who knows what could happen and why.

I have an article due on Wednesday, and I can't muster any ounce of willpower to do it. I need serious help - this happens EVERY time!

You're right... I can do it...rallying forces....

It's okay, son. One day you will be able to have normal erections all the time.

I'm procractinating of generating files that I'm not so familiar with, by doing all the stuff I'm familiar with first. Problem is, it's all due at the end of the week, and the stuff I'm unfamiliar with will take me longer, and also require additional time before the end of the week to be second checked. Irresponsible task management!

MarsAudiac  said about 1 month ago:

I'm drawing up a timeline for a project with numerical prioritisation of components. Knowing that it's all irrelevant boring batshit, is it more efficient to be honest and put a zero in every column, or is it looked upon more favourably to make the pretense of putting some numbers in there? UGHHHHHH. I CAN'T MUSTER A FIVE LET ALONE A ONE.
