Holy shit, I've never seen so much snow in my life.

YAY SNOW!

xsheppox  said about 5 years ago:

Looks so good. Like "livingincanada", I have never seen snow (that I can recall).

Somewhat related, as a kid, I had a huge crush on Susan from the BBC adaptation of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

didn't we all peter, didn't we all.

shhh  said about 5 years ago:

your photos are gorgeous wonky

and yours too anorakhighst

Wonky  said about 5 years ago:

anorakhighst: how are you doing images as links?

anorakhighst  said about 5 years ago:

First put in the image with the Image link, then select the code generated and click the URL link, adding the link. Both of these are picked out of the Flickr code.

If I had more time, I'd write a sed script for converting the Flickr HTML to M+N forum code.

nice backyard, nice snow, got any turkish delight?

gobetween  said about 5 years ago:

I wish I was there today.

ProDelgado  said about 5 years ago:

It looks as though the snow is going to move further south again. Bah, I want it back up here.

When are you back over to the UK, GB?

gobetween  said about 5 years ago:

Not sure at this stage. I'll let you and HEB know though, for sure.

hillsonghoods  said about 5 years ago:

nice before and after shots. advanced snow, ho ho.

Pip.  said about 5 years ago:

Pffft! I got more snow than you! hehe
snow

Wonky  said about 5 years ago:

PaulsGrandfather: you probably wouldn't say that if you saw it in person. It's in desperate need of renovation, there's no water pressure in the bathrooms, you get splinters from the floorboards in the kitchen and the carpet is filthy.

It's pretty good by London rental standards though.

Reverb  said about 5 years ago:

Not snowing down here in the westcountry.... Fucken gulf stream...

ladyborlando  said about 5 years ago:

My sister and I are running around on adventures at the moment... it snowed when we were in Moscow, it was all snowy in St Petersburg and Latvia, it was snowing this morning in Paris when we woke up and tonight in Copenhagen everything is white too! It's all so lovely!

Awh Wonky... we will all have to go to the snow fields to relive all of this... can you keep it like that for when I get over there in a couple of weeks?

mipearson  said about 5 years ago:

Part of me is expecting Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson to walk out of that scene and say sorry to each other.

modhisattva  said about 5 years ago:

Snow is very pretty, but fuckin cold.

sister  said about 5 years ago:

those are very pretty pics wonky.

ProDelgado  said about 5 years ago:

A couple from last year, I was full of good intentions to get some good pics this week, but unfortunately it had melted over night. Bah.

adamdmills  said about 5 years ago:

wow.

for some reason, these photos got me all choked up.

i think i'm living in the wrong country.

nicko_mcbrain  said about 5 years ago:

hey guys, when you shoot snow, you need to overexpose by 1-2 stops to stop it from coming out grey...

but yeah, looks beautiful. gal i love is there now.

le sigh.

HEB  said about 5 years ago:

Snow is often grey here

awesome. I will have some to post tomorrow

bookclub  said about 5 years ago:

i swear manchester is about the only place in the whole of the UK where snow hasn't fallen today. weird too, because we tend to be colder and wetter than london/the south. so while every single school in birmingham is closed and the snow ploughs work overtime on the runways at london luton, i'm sitting here wondering what all the fuss is about.

HEB  said about 5 years ago:

"London Luton" is such a deception.
Like "Ballarat Melbourne", or "Avalon Melborne"

bookclub  said about 5 years ago:

Yeah, most of the Easyjet European destinations are like that. Barcelona's Easyjet airport is a good hour and 15 minutes away...

anorakhighst  said about 5 years ago:

And a few more (with my DSLR):

anorakhighst  said about 5 years ago:

Re: London Luton

A while ago, Ryanair were advertising cheap flights to "London Prestwick Airport".

It's not even in the same country.

devines  said about 5 years ago:

its snowing up north too! in leeds. so prettiful. but im scared im going to slip on the ice when it dries eeeep i didnt get time to take photos i hope it stil is tomo

Reverb  said about 5 years ago:

No snow in the southwest. patchy rain and some sunshine. I've said it before and i'll say it again.

Damn that gulf stream.

HEB  said about 5 years ago:

The Gulf Stream loves you Reverb!

ProDelgado  said about 5 years ago:

A lot of it has melted here, but because my end of town is a lot higher than the rest, we've still got ours. Could do with more overnight, but I think that's it.

HEB  said about 5 years ago:

You love the Gulf Stream...

HEB  said about 5 years ago:

NB: UK cultural reference, probably lost on everyone anyway

Reverb  said about 5 years ago:

lost on me =S

That isn't suprising for a company that thinks that Derry Airport is an army base
