rosie, the email states at the bottom that you're welcome to forward the email to anyone to encourage them to join.
Done like a dinner - thanks Gnomey. If we cross paths somewhere somehow I'll buy you drink or two.
Champion.
if you have the url of one job, you can simply edit it inthe url line of yr browser to look at the next one. it takes a while but doable
also if yr unemployed, most job network members should have a subscription that you can look at there
i believe knomadix was bought one by his job network member...
oh really gnome i zone out when it gets to international jobs.. in that case do u still need it karen?
looks like they've changed on the fwding front:
Did you know that Arts Hub is not funded by the government or any other funding institution? This means we rely solely on your membership for our survival. For this reason, we ask that you do not give others your log in details for the web site or forward any Arts Hub information, either to another individual or to others within your organisation. It’s also a breach of the Copyright Act and therefore illegal. However, we think your friends and colleagues should be able to access the vital information we provide and are happy for them to steal it – for a small annual membership fee of $88 ($66 for students). We also have special rates for organisations
Ah, well I stand corrected.

I'd like to read that too. Please paste it in one of the threads, kuro.

i've emailed the pdf to you andyr
So I just checked this old email account I rarely use anymore and there's a message telling me that I don't have to do anything, I've been auto resubscribed to arts hub....which I didn't even know was active from the year previous and was apparently auto subscribed as well.
Apart from being plain dodgy, is this illegal?
I don't even know the log in.
not illegal. It's in the terms and conditions... you musta clicked (or not un-licked) the auto resubscribe
that is strange hungry, but can i use your account details, i need to a login for that site at the moment.
I need one to quickly check something. If anybody can help, that'd be s'well.
I can - send me a PM!
I'm after a login so a friend of mine can look for jobs. Will not mess around with it or share it around. If you can help, PM!
I'm not sure whether or not to rejoin when I get home. For the last year or so I was still a member there were only ever about two things under Writing/Publishing each week, if that. Is it worth it?
I need someone to tell me what to do.
There's three in Writing/Publishing at the moment if that helps.
Three! Thanks. Am I right in thinking there generally used to be shitloads more jobs a few years ago? I suppose Arts Hub can't help the state of the job market if that's the problem, but I'm wondering if it's just not where people advertise anymore.
There's more in other sectors - I don't know if that's because the publishing jobs are advertised elsewhere, or if the industry isn't really hiring at the moment.
Hey postergirl - have a look at Bookseller + Publisher website under jobs tab. You might have more luck there.
Oh yes, I forgot about that one! I had a trial subscription at one point then didn't go the full one. They had some good stuff. Thanks.
No worries. Good luck!
