I NEED a haircut and dye, im sick of going to Fitzroy and my hairdresser there made me darker than i like to be last time (must be a fitzroy thing). So does anyone know of a good hairdresser in the city? Someone who is good with colours is a must, if they are open late thats a bonus...
oooh, go to mine.
in degraves... unico... ask for summer.
ahh, ok. i have seen that place. they are good? do blondes?
don't go to the one i went to in richmond. i hate my hair now.
you might need to chat to them and see... i thought it was one of the best cuts i have ever had... and i am damn fucking fussy with cuts.
not sure what they are like with blondes.
hmm, i might give them a call...
are they open late? could i get an appointment at 7ish?
it's in fitrzoy but chris from heading out is the best hair cutter (of male or female hair) ever. and i'm not even a hair cutting guy. but he knows how your hair works and cuts it so it looks good until the next time you go in there.
yep, am pretty sure they are open late kristy.

I need a recommendation for Sydney hairdressers please :
previous haunts include Scissorhands, New Do and Escape Hair (which was my fave fave until my hairdresser retired)
I was thinking Furr but all the people seem to leave with the same hairstyle, the short back and long sides do
oooh, i am excited... about to get my hair cut today.
am no help for you sorry gunshot.
my hairdresser is AWESOME! But she also runs a salon in Adelaide so she's only in sydney 2 weeks out of 3. She also flits of to NZ and chicago to teach hairdressing every so often.
she's been cutting my hair for 23 years
Can you tell I did a search for "hair"?
I reckon I'm going to make an appointment with this "Summer" character... Sveltes has great hair and it gives me a chance to try out the waffles at the same time!
my hairdresser, who i love and we have been together for over 7 years (my longest relationship ever), is moving to london. waaaaah! no more little buddha. what should i do?
hey kristy, how did you go with this?
are they very expensive, sveltes?
i don't need a colour, just a cut
chop, chop.
walked past yesterday.. might go book an appt.
my hair is driving me nuts
she is about 60-70 bucks skittles.
sorry i never cut your hair for you. i am slack.
i love summer soooo much.
me too!!! best haircut i ever had from sammar
is that how we spell her name?
she is best hairdresser i have ever had, and i've had quite a damn lot over the years.
i just checked her business card, it's samar
wow, cool. i had no idea.
hehe, slack..
that's ok!
i probably only want to spend half that, but i think i'll splurge to make my hair look pretty
a good haircut from her will last you a lot longer than a bad haircut from someone else.
i only get my cuts from her every 10 - 12 weeks, cause she cuts it in a way so that it grows out nicely and becomes about 5 different cuts all in one.
ooooh. i can't wait now.
calling tomorrow !
Anyone know a good Melbourne hairdresser that can cope well with shortish, curly hair that's a little bit fine?
You know, so you don't walk out of there looking like a frizz bomb, or with horrid separated wet-look curls from too much product. Or, (ugh!) a curly fringe.
I don't have very tight curls - just enough to be "difficult". I'm yet to find a hairdresser who hasn't required me to immediately degrease my hair and/or cut off weird straggly bits as soon as I get home.
Oh dear. My head is starting to take on an alarming triangular shape.

Seeing our friend Samar today for a cut... Yay!
She's the best ever!
hey collaterly... i like marina at biba on lygon st. i have thick curlyish hair - not tight curls either, but the curl is definately there, and she's really fantastic.
