by then there will have been about 8 or 9 updated models. 200 gig hard drive, built in toaster etc

speaking of filing suit, i wonder what happened to Apple (The Beatles company) vs Apple (the computer company)... did they resolve the dispute (which centered around Apple Computers being allowed to use the name as long as they stayed out of the music business)....?
But yeah, Cisco have a good leg to stand on with their suit, and pundits prior to the iPhone release were speculating on what it would be called because EVERYONE supposedly knew (except Apple it seems) that the iPhone name was trademarked.
i read apple were in the process of licensing the name from cisco, but haven't signed the final agreement ... it just seems they launched it before it was all tidied up ... odd
and yes, i think an apple agreement has been made, cause i also read that they're starting to refer to themselves just as apple, rather than the apple computer company
