They all look like someone's brother.

L-R: James Mercer's brother, K-Fed's brother, Har Mar's brother, Antony's brother.

Nah, too much moneys. I like them and all but I'm spending $40 on M Ward and I already owe blerk money for gigs. Like.... hundreds.

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

KevinArnold  said about 5 years ago:

Poor Blerk :(

djbollocks  said about 5 years ago:

I just got The Moon and Antartica for $10 at JBs on Elizabeth St (Melbourne).

I wish tickets to their gig weren't so expensive, I think it's putting a lot of Modest Mouse fans off going.

anok  said about 5 years ago:

i always assumed fans of this band were the obsessive type

MichaelDudikoff  said about 5 years ago:

This album is very good. In fact, it's an excellent pop album with 14 very strong songs.

But it's not going to reconvert the haterz post-Good News ...

whatwhat  said about 5 years ago:

fuck the haterz

seamonkeydisco  said about 5 years ago:

was just listening to dramamine.
good song.

i'm tres excited about the new album.

RoastOxCrisps  said about 5 years ago:

i just saw their clip on jtv. best clip i've seen in fucking ages.

svelteslacks  said about 5 years ago:

was rad huh. i want one of those beards.

Cruciphilia  said about 5 years ago:

I really like the new album. As much as "Good News" was their commercial breakthru, this is more like MM's first actual *pop * album. It will make them huge.

hiponion  said about 5 years ago:

I quite like it, and it's better than 'Good News', but there's something about it that's just cold.

Cruciphilia  said about 5 years ago:

maybe they used too much reverb for your liking, hiponion?

whatwhat  said about 5 years ago:

is there gonna be another ugly cassanova album? that was hella cool.

loving the new album. great melodies, great hooks.

no. 1 REBA fan  said about 5 years ago:

Yeh I'm loving the new album too.

Peter  said about 4 years ago:

wasn't quite sure where to put this post, but i did notice that 'official MODEST MOUSE day' - as claimed by tgwcd - was about one year ago, which means it's probably not long before oMMd's 1st birthday.

anyway:

was just transferring some MM CDs to my iPod and noticed on a website a live album from 1996 entitled ''interstate 8''

does anyone know if this a) any good? b) still available to buy?

whosgotthecrack?  said about 4 years ago:

i quite liked their records, but it was their live show that blew me away

they're just brilliant live

whosgotthecrack?  said about 4 years ago:

and sorry, no, i don't know...

Tramdriver  said about 3 months ago:

I'm totally crushing on The Moon & Antarctica - top 10 of the noughties for mine. 2 cents

joeboy  said about 3 months ago:

Edit the sad parts is a song I could listen to every day for the rest of my life, and there ain't many songs I can say that about. But probably little motel by these guys too.
