anyway, since when did anyone care what I think?
ha, poor cheezel
devo, i've challenged cheezel to a beer drinking competition, who do you reckon will win?
I'd say you would because it's only gonna motivate him more to not just talk about it but actually take up the challenge.
i'm only doin the drinking challange if it's devo's homebrew!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
perfect, devo can provide the beer *and adjudicate
which means i win
;)
fuck, I walked into that one didn't I?
anyone would think we had previously discussed this or something
anyway, back to christbait
i haven't heard yeast in many a long year
Hey cheezel remember when you hung out with that chick that had the huge christbait tatt on her leg?????
that would have been Kelly.
i played the truckin 7" just the other day, their best work i feel
i was playing some electric wizard for someone the other night and they thought it might mean i'd like christbait
dont know how high rotation it will be but definitely is good stuff
apparently the bass guitarist was a really hot chick who mysteriously disappeared from the melb rock scene... does anyone know what happened to her?
no-but wizard fucken rule!!
Nadia was the bass player, hmm...think she dropped out of things a while back....
I love Christbait, was listening to Yeast yesterday...
i remember seeing 'em at Frankston when I was a youth, at the Pelican Bar...
The second song on Dirtypunkmutha (or whatever the second record was called), is amazing...
BRING BACK CHRISTBAIT!
simon-box set soon fingers crossed
That'll be interesting...hopefully some unreleased tracks will be on it...

March at the Northcote Social Club...deets to follow
YEY!
dirtypunkmutha are playing the Northcote Social Club Saturday March 10 with guests Don Fernando and TTTDC (members of SOTIS and Wicked City...major riffage). Tix at the door. This will be the last gig in this incarnation, don't miss it.
needs more long pants
no dice. dirtypunkmutha has hot ankles.
Goodtimes.
dudewolf I'm maried and I'm old so your concerns over long pants, short pants or whatever else I wear falls on deaf ears.
hear hear, bands who institute dress code policies (long pants, collared shirts, punk rock uniforms, you know who you are) are inherently and irredeemably fucked. it's music, you listen to it...i'll play in a fucking cape if i want...
not enough punkers in sarongs
shades anyone... lulz.
ah, there you have not a policy but a long term gag...we have played without the shades before and it sounded pretty much the same, but the cheesy comedy value of bad sunnies is particularly fitting to that band. anyhoo, tangents aside, there is one more thing that requires clarification: neither dirtypunkmutha or christbait are playing the east brunswick club anytime soon, despite what their advertising may have said. there's one more gig, and it's march 10 at the social club. get it on.
just an update: tttdc have had to pull out of the opening support slot, but dead wasp have thrown their jazzy hats in the ring. only thing i know about them is that maestro of experimentia dave brown (ie candlesnuffer, bucketrider, lazy etc) plays a stringed instrument, and really that's enough for me. show kicks off at 9...don fernando at 10, dirtypunkmutha 11ish...tickets at the door
all the hoo-haa regarding this venture has been vaguely entertaining, but all good things must come to an end; be you a nay-sayer or just someone who wants to see big riffs played live through big amps, a disgruntled former member of christbait or someone who hasn't heard much of the band and should hear more, the only way to properly come to an informed opinion on the matter is to see it and hear it, and the only opportunity left to do so is this saturday at the northcote social club. huge riffs with a swingin' groove and a monster sound? heresy? you decide
I'm disgruntled because I can't be there.
boo
whats the damage on entry?
$15
Awesome. Just awesome. Felt like I was back in the 90's, even looked around a few times and wasn't sure if it was. Adam and Ben you are genius, Jason you always suck balls.
WHERE WAS ADAM!
