YUCK!
VOMS
It smells.
It's really good for you.
What is kombucha tea? Does it have any health benefits?
i'm fermenting my own SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) in my cupboard... it's pretty thick at the moment and has grown in layers to cover the entire surface area of my jar. it's pretty fragrant and seems potent. effervescent and revitalising. planning to put the SCOBY in a new batch of tea and leave it to ferment again for another 30 days...
I wish I could tell you more pertinent news...!
Sorry, it had to be done.
I cannot believe I used to enjoy that shit.
I've never tried it. am curious...

It tastes like fermented pear juice. I tell myself that anyway.
I don't drink it any more.
Can you buy the scobys in Melbourne? I have people asking for it all the time, but the best I can do is point them to dubious-looking websites that sell it. Somewhere reputable would be good.
Just drink pickle juice instead!
Yes, I would also like details of any Melbourne retailers. Of kombucha.
Not tea, but like a soft drink style.
i got my SCOBY from a friend... it may eventually spawn babies in due course... i don't know a decent place to buy them though...
love kombucha. there's a tiny healthfood shop in glenhuntly that sells it (for $3.50 a bottle or something stupid). i can get the address if anyone's interested
its meant to spawn a baby every time you do it isn't it?
My First Experience Making Kimbucha
