birth glow are amazing! its ellen from jemima jemima, nick from sweet raxxx and steph from no through road. it was a pity steph couldn't come along with us last weekend, coz they may have played, but steph had a wedding or something. they are seriously awesome!

MY DISCO, HIT THE JACKPOT, BIRTH GLOW
Friday 13th April at the Rocket Bar (Adelaide)
sceaux - love your review.
i dont think i've been this excited about a new local band for sometime. almost so excited i can't articulate my true thoughts. cdep/mini album out on nervous jerk in august.
wait till you hear 'ransom'
that song is de BOMB!
although i wish they would move the box of tshirts out of our laudry, i almost trip over them everytime i go to the toilet.
im gonna write a tell-all book called 'Living with Birth Glow: It aint all placentas and sunshine'
i second that....'ransom' is indeed the shizziest shizzle that ever there was....the whole recording is amazing.... shir... shirts ...shirts for washing...
i love 'corporate queen' myself.
more to life than pens and golden dreams DREAMS dreams DREAMS dreams DREAMS DREAMS!!!!
haha, thats me, i'm one of those yelling out 'DREAMS!'
Yeh I like em'
this EP is still the greatest thing I've heard in a good few months, I reckon.
gets stuck in my head for long periods of time
all the december love has dissapeared, but yeah. EP - great. ransom - just about song of 2007.
so are these guys gonna do a national tour for their EP? They haven't played Sydney for nearly a year...
ellen is going overseas with clue to kalo...i think to the US for 6 months...
where were you all when they did play at sydney? huh!
YOU BETTER SLOW DOWN
YR GONNA GET HURT
JUST FOR ONE DAY HE CAN WASH HIS OWN SHIRT!
RIP BIRTH GLOW
really? did they break up?
not sure if they 100% did, but steph's overseas, ellen's in clue to kalo and nick started a band with his moustache...
i just checked their myspace and it says ''R.I.P''. that's sad. never got the chance to see them live
steph's playing guitar in batrider now...living in london...so could be away for a long time.
WHY MUST THE GOOD DIE YOUNG?
yeah, steph's playing withbatrider on their uk/european tour but will be back here in nov for the no through road album tour...well, at least she will be if she knows what's good for her!
so what you're saying is she'll be staying in london?
shut yr face hole!
So noone told you that you still love me? Oh well. Well, it's too late baby.
It's a shame this outfit has apparently disbanded. I too never managed to see them live, but their record is an endearing enough piece of sixties-influenced indie/post-punk with real pop motivations.
Oh, if you get caught in the winter, and you're feeling cold and alone -
And if wolves creep slow by the timber, and your bones creak old from the snow,
Come sit with me. I'll keep you warm. Lay down with me. There'll be no harm done at all.
(insert dreamy sigh)
damn straight.
my fave songs are the ones left of the cd.
like their cover of 'umbrella' ...ella ella ella
THIS BREAKS MY HEART
i demand a rethink!
hey sceaux - this won't heal your heart but you should look at this xo
