Can't stop buying the things!
Got the Coltrane one today. Might get the Monkees one tomorrow.
There must be a warehouse of these things. I may have to rob it.

Is that the 5 disc thingys for $20-odd?
That's the ones.
how do they fare for packaging and liner notes? Anaemic or useable? I've been close to getting some but i'd love to see some more artists up there - e.g. elektra or Warner Bros artists
Packaging is little mini cardboard , CD sized reproduction of the original album covers. Any liner notes that were on the original LP are on the little mini sleeves. The liner notes are typical of their day and seem to use the word ''negro'' a lot. Besides that it's all bare bones. no bonus tracks or anything fancy like that.
I just picked up the Los Lobos one which I am enjoying at the moment.
What's the sound like? I read that they're not remastered. Which isn't always a bad thing.
what's on the coltrane one?
i've been meaning to get a copy of ole'
yeah, what albums is coltrane?
Many are here
And to answer the question above: Giant Steps / Coltrane Jazz / My Favorite Things / Coltrane Plays the Blues / Coltrane's Sound.
Aretha, Otis, Wilson Pickett all solid gold too.
