good work bruce.

anonymous  said about 5 years ago:

might want to check those longnecks in store, i didn't think they made 750's anymore.

Bruce  said about 5 years ago:

no, neither did lockingplier.

cheeky bugger.

anonymous  said about 5 years ago:

fosters webpage doesn't list melbourne bitter (strange) but for the brands it does list, only 800ml bottles, no 750's.

LockingPlier  said about 5 years ago:

Hmmm, the plot thinkens!!!

LockingPlier  said about 5 years ago:

thickens

RedLipGirl  said about 5 years ago:

cheapest beer was the carton we won last night.

PelicanGodOfJupiter  said about 5 years ago:

At Liquorland in Traralgon (at least was the case last Saturday):

Bavaria Bottles, 375ml, 24 pack - $31.95 with a free soccer ball.

anonymous  said about 5 years ago:

1st choice liquor have two slabs of carlton or boags draught 24x275 stubbies for $60.

LockingPlier  said about 5 years ago:

275ml?!?!?!

What's the point?!?!?!

anonymous  said about 5 years ago:

375, my bad.

your normal everyday run of the mill good drinkin' stubbies.

LockingPlier  said about 5 years ago:

Sorry, I over-reacted there.

I'm still haunted by the memory of T-Bone and Toodles coming back from the bottlo in Sydney with a box of grenades.

"But they were $10 cheaper?!?!?!", they kept saying.

"Of course they fuckin' were, you're getting $10 less worth of beer, you FUCKHEADS!!!!", I told them.

It was an emotional time.

DaisyB  said about 5 years ago:

thats funny LP. aaaw, o'stoopid strikes again.
we saw Toodles on the new Rockstar show the other night, the audition show. but it was just a flash of him singing and reading the lyrics looking goofy and nervous, no sound.

Hendrix's Dog  said about 5 years ago:

where's first choice liquer?

Reckon the coles thing is for stubbies as well as cans?

scallywag  said about 5 years ago:

we call them "throw downs" locky

only old men & kids drink em - they're the beverage of choice for the marginally aged

LockingPlier  said about 5 years ago:

I was gonna say "throw downs" but I thought I'd get mocked.

I knew I should've trusted my instincts!!!

mabo  said about 5 years ago:

33 bux for VB cans at safeways this week.

cheers!

cheezel  said about 5 years ago:

BEST THREAD EVER!

no i'm serious

Vikinggod  said about 5 years ago:

Down at the local Mega I pay kr9,50 for a 330ml stubbie. That's about $2.

There is no discount if 6 packs or slabs. So about $48 will get you a slab of 330ml stubbies here in NOrway.

this whole horrible ordeal has left a bad taste in my mouth.

it'd be nice if these lower prices would flow down to pubs (punny)

registradus  said about 2 months ago:

twitter #beergate is insane. people are insane.

Tiger Tiger  said about 2 months ago:

latest development: looks like Coles will be sending $15 Liquorland vouchers to be spent in-store to those who haven't spent their $15 on-line credit by the 30th of Nov. What a bunch of muppets!

anonymous  said about 2 months ago:

that's more useful.

jimmy hutspah  said about 2 months ago:

Coles - you offered me cheap beer, and then you took it away. I'm not gonna play anymore.

electricFIST  said about 2 months ago:

Dunno if it's the same in Melbourne, but hit up Dan Murphys for the specials this week in Sydney:

Coopers Sparkling Ale for $41
Little Creatures Pale Ale for $55
Coronas for $41

registradus  said about 2 months ago:

that vb pale for $12 a six pack was ok. that vb pale for $50 a slab would not be ok.

I have favourited this thread but since the coles debacle above, it's turned into a thread of broken dreams. Beautiful, boozy dreams... all broken. So sad.

gabbo  said about 2 months ago:

Chevalier beer is available at The Gem now... i recommend it highly. though don't blame me if it is too expensive. they have a weird price-point issue.

Coles online is up to its old tricks again, though this time it isn't beer:

Tiger Tiger  said about 2 months ago:

deceitful fucks!

Hellzapoppin  said about 2 months ago:

Well I got a $15 voucher out of them last time. Look forward to another for the 12 cartons I just ordered. That's nearly enough for a bottle of Jamesons.

Tiger Tiger  said about 2 months ago:

like your strategy!

Hellzapoppin  said about 2 months ago:

Works for me!

MelonHCST  said about 2 months ago:

I tried Grand Ridge Pale Ale. It was awful

MelonHCST  said about 2 months ago:

But it came with a free bottle opener

klaximopark  said about 2 months ago:

Hooray I finally got my $15 voucher! I hope you get more free shit for the bourbon and cola can debacle hellza, although if i were coles i'd sent you every one of those filthy cans somewhat akin to dad locking a teenager in a closet with a carton of smokes.

labrish  said about 2 months ago:

I tried to use my gift card yesterday only to find that the cunts hadn't activated it. Looking forward to squeezing another out of them when I complain.
