About time.

Him and Kurt Vile are touring together in the States at the moment. And what a show that'll be

sweet album cover.. reminds me of a certain turtle in a certain story that never ends.

chimpassgimp666  said about 1 year ago:

Just listening now. Really great album. So Neil Young. Really like this acoustic side of J and so tastefully played and recorded.

steveholt  said about 1 year ago:

Picked this up at JB HiFi Bourke St on vinyl for $23 on weekend.

such a great album

Love that part about halfway through the album when the Jazzmaster rips in. Such a delicately timed guitar solo in the space of the album.

mrmagoo  said about 1 year ago:

the combo of vocals on 'Not Enough' is magic! real CSNY vibe to it

dannulla  said about 1 year ago:

fuck how i love this new album, hope he tours it here some time

poprocks96  said about 1 year ago:

nedb  said about 1 year ago:

poprocks96  said about 1 year ago:

I'm listening now too, nedb...

ghoti-max  said about 1 year ago:

I'm not :(

Hellzapoppin  said about 1 year ago:

I deleted this after two listens, did nothing for me at all.

Ghostface  said about 1 year ago:

at least you didn't pay for it so it's a win win

Hellzapoppin  said about 1 year ago:

People pay for music? What kind of retards are these may I ask?

ghoti-max  said about 1 year ago:

Employed ones.

No sympathy for you Poprocks.

I told you Oakleigh was the better choice!

monkeyman  said about 4 months ago:

It is an easy fix though.

Just use a drum riser - Old Bar did it for Charlie Parr last NYE - but they obviously had enough foresight to see it would be a problem.

poprocks96  said about 4 months ago:

This must have happened on the Tuesday night show too? Also, the mixers talking the entire time was very annoying.

goingblank  said about 4 months ago:

Is he touring with any guests or is solo for the entire set?

dannulla  said about 4 months ago:

so despite the lack of view, how was his set?

charly  said about 4 months ago:

I also left about halfway through. It was just too frustrating only being able to see the backs of people's heads. It sounded alright but I find it hard to really get into it when I can't see what's going on at all and it looks like an empty stage. Especially with solo performers I like to be able to see what they're doing to get the sound. Massive fail on the part of the promoters and I won't be going to the Toff again for a show... Teeth & Tongue great though.

nedb  said about 4 months ago:

No sight issues from our front & centre table last night at the Caravan Club!

Great set. Little Furry Things!!!

TimChuma  said about 4 months ago:

300 people at the Caravan Music Club last night.

I was only up the front for the first couple of songs then went down the back so I would not get in the way.

dannulla  said about 4 months ago:

great show last now, is J the only guy that can get away with using s fuzz pedal on an acoustic,

hoping tonight will be just as good!

ghoti-max  said about 4 months ago:

Yeah he was awesome last night...pretty special to be in such a close proximity to the guy

Ghostface  said about 4 months ago:

strange dude sitting in front of me headbanging was strange

dannulla  said about 4 months ago:

Yep, the second night was just as good as the first, and picked up the vinyl as well

TRAVESTY!!!???

Mascis has teamed up with Built to Spill bassist Brett Nelson's Electronic Anthology Project to remake nine Dinosaur Jr. songs as full-blown synth-pop. ''Tarpit'' from 1987's You're Living All Over Me is the first taste.

The album will be released in a limited-edition run of 500 purple vinyl records, out April 21 for Record Store Day. A digital, CD, and standard vinyl release will follow.

The Electronic Anthology Project of Dinosaur Jr.:

01 Sludgefest
02 Pond Song
03 Raisans
04 In a Jar
05 The Lung
06 Kracked
07 Tarpit
08 Little Fury Things
09 Feel the Pain
