my gf got given a voucher to an expensive hight tea at sydney's victoria room. the voucher said it was for 2. good shit i thought, i'm gonna be eating cucumber sambos and sippin' on rose champagne like it ain't no thang. we go, we line up with the old birds wearing ugly hats (and me in my sonic youth shirt). turns out it was a voucher for 2 but only one high tea was paid for. so i had to pay $65 for 4 crappy little cakes and poo sandwiches. i was pissed. well pissed
