Come down to the site of the resurrection on the corner of Johnston and Wellington tonight to see similar miraculous displays more worthy of sainthood as a group of uprights persist with their various brands of original output to their own collective detriment.
Witness the blunt end of lives shoe horned into a stunted underclass for the sake of artistic endeavor and delight in their conti...nual failure before heading home for a nice cold shower to rinse the residual blood of others from your life. Later throw down a powershake and cry yourself to sleep thinking about the fractured, careening and aptly emblazoned Spinning Rooms. Or maybe the primal echoes of New War bouncing around in your dome will hit the tear ducts and bring forth a salt future. When you get up the next day and sit alone in your car in the carpark of your employment, spin the chamber and cast your mind back to the complete soul destruction of Harmony and their down beat gallows blues and wonder how you'll ever make it to smoko without drinking a mug of toner. Then drink a mug of toner and zone out to the Lower Plenty tape you bought the night before in a final effort to impress the disaffected art school head who mistakenly thought she stood a chance of being seen at a secret My Disco show. Spinning Rooms + New War + Harmony + Lower Plenty at The Tote tonight. thursday 16 dec. doors 8.30pm

great press release! sold
A cursory google tells me that Harmony are Tom Lyngcoln of the Nation Blue with Jon Chappell (Mclusky/Shooting at Unarmed Men). Solid!
Awesome gig. All the bands sounded great, but Harmony were incredible. New favourite Melbourne band - solid gold rock / noise with soulful three-part harmony backing vocals. They are currently battling it out in the darkest parts of my brain with New War for favourite local band.
Harmony track up on Bandcamp
drones backed by the chantoozies
Harmony have a jan residency as the old bar starting tonight.
