vastly overrated pop band. Not a patch on Dwight Twilley band or Shoes for that matter.

Raspberries aren't overrated. they rule. this is coming from a Twilley and Shoes fanatic. That said getting into the Raspberries took a lot longer cos i wasn't on Eric Carmen's shout/croon/croon/shout wavelength.but when it clicked, it really clicked...

the tune PLAY ON gets my vote.

does anyone think the raspberries 'i can remember' has bits in it which sounds a lot like the opening to the theme song to hill street blues. there's a drum solo in there too which sounds suspiciously like phil collins drum solo from in the air tonight. you know, the bit that goes doo-dom doo-dom doo-dom (according to wiki).
