New band featuring:

Dimitri Coats - guitar (Burning Brides)

Mario Rubalcaba - drums (Earthless/RFTC/Hot Snakes/Clikitat Ikatowi & a few others)

That sounds pretty sweet. Hope they tour. It would be awesome to see Keith Morris play.

Keith Morris used to date Debbie Gibson

Seriously? I knew she sang backups on a Circle Jerks album, but I was not aware of that. What a guy.

I pre-ordered their four 7'' EP box set from Interpunk for 30 AU including shipping. Raymond Pettibon does all the art. Bargain.

Yeah he dated her during those days, and not in the 80's though! Some American news program dedicated a story to it, it used to be on the net.

Also Keith Morris is a creep.

Well yeah, the dreadlocks are a bit of a giveaway.

That website is the bane of my bank account's existence.

goingblank  said about 1 year ago:

Finally got the box set a couple of weeks back. Needless to say, it's great.

I briefly spoke to Mario after one of the Earthless shows and he said a couple of promoters have approach OFF! about an Aus tour. Fingers crossed.

New 7'' available now from Southern Lord

I still can't stop listening to the First Four EPs. Just got the 7'' boxset in the mail today. Good times.

Possibly one of the best drummers EVER.

When asked on twitter yeaterday if an Aussie tour was planned, the reply came back

Australia in December.

Meredith??????

Saw these guys in L.A. and was blown away. Don't expect a set lasting longer than 30 minutes though. Spoke to Keith and Demitri afterwards and they indicated they wanted to get here as Keith has never been before.

Anyone know if they're doing a sideshow?

How was this last night at the bowls club?

Hellzapoppin  said about 5 months ago:

But Hellzza where else can the kids get their political beliefs if not from punk bands?

True, it's not as though anyone fucking reads any more.

unvisible  said about 5 months ago:

I figured the preaching was just an excuse for the old, diabetic Morris to catch his breath.

hyperfuzz  said about 5 months ago:

The preaching drove me away completely. Nice Mosrite action though.

univox hi-flyer.

How was it last night? Not at Meredith. Someone answer me

rigid  said about 5 months ago:

That's the show we're talking about just above.

Ralph Malph  said about 5 months ago:

Surely you knew what Morris is like, and should of expected the dialogue. It would be like going to a John Farnham show and being outraged that he told a Mother-In-Law joke.

rigid  said about 5 months ago:

Sure, it was expected. Doesn't make it any less tedious. Like I said, it's only a mild complaint. The gig as a whole was still really, really good.

dudewolf  said about 5 months ago:

my first off! experience was old mate talking for 20 minutes before they even played a song. then 1 song and more talking. i bailed.

sunday was great when they were playing. the young kid next to me with his punk dad was the best

I can't wait to get this album...
Mrs.C arrives in New York a week before they play. It's just as the album comes out. I'm so jealous.

unvisible  said about 2 months ago:

Yep, I reckon it'll be a killer. I'm really hoping that they re-release First Four EPs on a single LP at some point. I've got the box set, but it would be great to only have to flip the record once.

+1

If they put it all on the one CD, I can't imagine why not on the one vinyl at some stage. I would be into that

goingblank  said 8 days ago:

You can stream the album over at Spin.

Five songs in. Sounds pretty good.

LaxCharisma  said 8 days ago:

Yeah it's great. My white vinyl arrived yesterday.
